Awesome!
Found some golden oldies I had completely forgotten about - thanks! - Tom0 -
Just to reiterate what a earlier poster warned against ... If you mark a CD as a GIFT then it does NOT qualify for Autorip. I recently fell foul of this, and rather ironically I didn't intentionally tick the GIFT box. Even though the purchase confirmation stated that my purchase qualifies for Autorip, Amazon are insistent that I ticked the box and so is ineligible.
Likewise - and I'm equally convinced I didn't tick the 'gift' option. Fortunately, I was in time to cancel and reorder in order to get the Autorip.
I'm finding Amazon more and more awkward to deal with these days. They used to regard customer service very highly, but now they don't seem to give a damn. And, oddly, the Scottish call centre seems to be the worst of the lot.0 -

I may well have queried it in time too, had their purchase e-mail not confirmed that the purchase qualified for Autorip.0 -

Even worse ... it appears that if you order multiple CDs in one purchase, then although you're required to indicate which is a gift against each one individually, if you tick the GIFT box against just one of them then under Amazon rules, you disqualify the whole lot from Autorip.
A further warning on this ... as mentioned, if you order multiple items and tick any as a GIFT then it treats the whole order as being a GIFT and hence ineligible for AUTORIP:
1) This doesn't just apply to ticking CDs. So if you buy a CD and a bottle of aftershave and tick only the latter as a GIFT, it disqualifies the former from AUTORIP
2) If you order an item from someone else's wishlist then it defaults to a GIFT and you have to explicitly untick it.
My CD order was accompanied by an item from someone's wishlist, so I can see now why the whole order was treated as a GIFT. Amazon were insistent that I'd explicitly ticked the CD but knowing what I do now, I'm even more certain that they're wrong.0 -

Disagree. The Scottish and Irish ones are the best. Try dealing with Hyderbad. They are shockingly bad.
Never had to complain too much so I guess if you scrounge a free month of prime every time a delivery is 10 seconds late they are less helpful.0 -
80 songs downloaded - some were gifts but I'll listen to them anyway! Thank you! :T0

Thanks for the tip! Gonna take quite a while to upload all my music, but it will be worth it. Don't they do this on Google Play as well?0
