    OOH/Emergency Line - no answer

Police 101 - apologised as they no longer have the resources to deal with noise complaints.

The lady on the end of the line agreed it was very loud and suggested calling again at around 04:00 or 05:00 if the noise hadn't abated.

They might then have someone available to call round.

    Otherwise try the council.

The music has stopped. Finally. At 03:21.

They're still on at each other like they're deaf. It sounds as if they're on their way to bed.

    Roll on tomorrow (Monday).

I want words with the Little Miss Housing Officer....................

Nope. They simply turned down the volume as they were putting the kids to bed.

    Now it's quiet and dark.

Vile, inconsiderate pigs. I hope they get evicted.

    Happy moneysaving all.

I have very anti social neighbours, but if I call police saying theres a noise disturbance, after 11pm, they attend

I think you need to go back to police and say you arent satisifed with this response as all it takes is for them to knock a door and say enough.

Ive had to call police due to all night parties lately, no one should be expected to have sleep disrupted like that

Contact your MP (mine doesnt deal with housing issues, also your local councillor)

In my experiences, housing officers are as much use as a choc teapot and thats having had contact with mine over the last ten years plus

But keep trying and if theres a local anti social task force, get them involved as well

Things are getting weird and nasty.

A few weeks ago, the private landlord of the house on the other side of me gave the Eastern European family their marching orders after he visited and found that they'd got a dog.

It was a cute, little wolf-like creature that was just starting to produce a whistling noise for a howl - it was well looked after and never left alone - but a deal's a deal and they had agreed with the landlord that there were to be no dogs.

Our front doors sit together on the same stepped doorstep so their doorstep is my doorstep.

They didn't go quietly and the landlord had to threaten them with legal action before they went.

Their bins sat on the pavement outside their house.

A few days after the family left, leaving behind some horrible rubbish, poo appeared.

Around and on their bins and directly in front of the shared doorstep. Very loose, it must have started off as nearly liquid and, by the time I found it (after a night shift) it had dried.

Of course I cleared it up - the flies and the smell were horrendous.

The landlord has got the builders and decorators in, but they aren't there every day and were certainly not around in the last week.

The bins have since disappeared and the landlord is claiming ignorance as to their whereabouts.

Poo appeared in front of the doorstep again. Very loose, again it must have started off as near liquid - again I cleared it up.

Old bicycle tyres have made an appearance, bin bags full of rubbish dumped beside the doorstep and an old uPVC window frame was left leaning against a wall.

Today, I came home after the bin men had been (I left the bins out last night before going to work) to find my emptyand clean bins and a huge, torn bin bag of rubbish including food waste spilling out across the pavement.

There was also poo. Very loose and liquid. This time so recently put down that it was relatively easy to clean up. A weird blessing in disguise.

Oh, there was another pair of bicycle tyres in such a state that it looks as though they'd been dug up from somewhere.

All dumped on the pavement outside my front door.

The nature of the rubbish suggests Eastern European dumpers and not the Caribbean 'lady' I've been complaining about before.

I've cleaned up again with bleach, soapy suds and a bit of caustic soda and all the rubbish is tripled bagged and in my bin awaiting collection next week.

I have visions of someone wandering the streets with a piping bag depositing dollops of poo.

I don't know who's done this. I've certainly not gone out of my way to antagonise people and the way they left my bins alone suggests I'm some sort of collateral damage in a feud with the owner of the property next door.

    Any ideas?! I'm stumped.

The liquid poo sounds like it could be from wildlife - probably a fox if rubbish has been left out, they have quite smelly poos. Now that the dog has left, there's no dog smell to act as a deterrent to the fox. You might want to try something like this. Not too expensive, and apparently it works well. As for the rest of the rubbish, it might be the contractors clearing it out - did your neighbours have a shed?

Worth a call to environmental health for advice? For example, our council has a hotline for reporting sex and drugs 'litter'.

And also talk to the local police, because this is antisocial behaviour.

Got the same problem here, except kids in their late teens.family of six are renting house next door,no one in house employed ,all left school etc.my two kids aged 20 (girl) 18 ( boy ) have had their lives made misery with constant innuendos and drunken abuse (daughter ) when they arrive home from work or nights out .
It all seems to be a jealousy thing as the four of us work and perhaps they are seeing things they would like,we have a nice house ,we'll kept garden ,go several holidays a year and behave like a normal family.we had to pay £1700 to have a larger fence as they intruded whenever they pleased.
The culmination was about a month ago when neighbours second oldest boy and three of his friends attacked my boy in the street at about 2330 one evening ,they messed him up and my son insisted no police ,reluctantly I adhered to his wishes. Around ten days ago my son came home covered in blood on his clothes and hands fearing the worst we cleaned him up ,showered and found he had not a mark on him ,and he explained that this was the third of the four he had paid back ( my son may be only 18 but he is 6"2 and built to match ) we've tried to tell him to stop to no avail, I hate thought of him fighting but inside I am so bloody proud of him.
We know things will only get worse and are buying a new property in record time to get him and my daughter away from these people.
When I ask others in work about their situations they all agree that all this asbo crap etc does not work and towns thought britiain are now full of scum like this .
Where will it all end ? ?? Badly I believe
