  • I just don't know how you would be able to get my traffic to your site or your Youtube. This is what I am struggling with!

Does anyone know if Google adsense makes anything slower when on their website? Sounds like a nice little thing (even if a small earner) to have, thanks!

It does a little, as the relevant adverts and text ads have to be loaded in which takes more time for the page to be completely viewable.

I got told today that I got over 7,000 views/clicks in the July month and I only made £10. Quite dissapointed but it just shows unless you are getting millions of views you are not going to make that much. I am going to give them a message in a few weeks once my pin comes just to ask them how it all works. I need to do a bit of research and see how I can boost my ratings. It can only get better though!

I'm a little confused as to why you do not know how much money you are making at any given time with AdSense.

You can log into your AdSense account and see daily earnings.

It never says it to me. I don't know if it is because I haven't had ansense for the long.

How many of those 7,000 are actual clicks?

It really depends on what ads are being served, and whether or not anyone buys from them. My best ad was a click through purchase from a mobile phone provider. Punter spent over £2K and I got nearly £30 from that one sale.

Mind you, the vast majority of the others earned me nothing.

Have a new idea for a site which should do reasonably well when I have it built. Really must make time for coding again.
  • My friends has a website that Google approved by Google ad-sense. He is getting much enough money from Google and he don't need to pay anything to Google. But he told me that this all procedure tool 2 to 3 years.
This is really a good idea to make money from Google online.

It MAY be a good idea.

As others have said, google adsense is a reasonable program but you need to have the right sort of site for it to make sense to use it. The key point is that by clicking on an advert your visitor is taken away from your site and you are likely to only earn a few pennies for that.

So if you had an ecommerce site where you make an average of $20 a sale it is silly to risk losing that sale in exchange for earning only $0.10

On the flip side if you have a broad informational site with a very diverse audience then the flexibility of adsense is perfect for you as advertisement revenue is your only income and adsense will deal with the diversity of your visitors.

I use adsense on a reverse directory I set up a few years ago as a fire and forget site and it trickles along with about $10 a month coming in.
  • I got 7224 page views last month and only 284 clicks.
