Morning all
Welcome new people & welcome back returners :j
I'm crossing everything for GI's DH at his interview.
The s*dding chuckle brothers are back  I was alerted by the sound of scraping metal and shouts of 'EH?' - I rushed to the window and my heat sank to see their van parked outside. They appear to have erected scaffolding from my NDN but one's side, rather than from my side. So, another day without washing out & with the LR doors closed. I can, however, still hear the doddery old gits through my double glazing without my hearing aids - and I've got over 50% hearing loss!! :wall:
I'll continue in the kitchen when they finish their break (they sit in their van outside my kitchen window), one just can't clean when one is being gurned at
/rant
*cupboard sorting going well
*kitchen declutter done in preparation for actual cleaning
*DW emptied, reloaded & set off again
*window wiped
*breakfast scoffed & cleared away
Dusty I hope your headache goes soon x

I could well be in but possibly not until tomorrow, I had the busiest weekend ever with my BFF preparing for the christening, becoming a fairy godmother and cleaning up the buffet afterwards, exhausting but worth every aching muscle. I came home and gratefully collapsed into bed, after ironing the clean bedding, making bed up and unpacking my weekend bag. Not for long though as DSS decided to be violently ill all over the bathroom and it took me an hour to clean it all up. I asked OH what he'd eaten and his reply was "pain au chocolat for breakfast, chocolate tart when we had coffee, pizza and a chocolate fondant at Ronnie Scott's, a Mars duo on the train home and a creme egg before he went to bed"
And somehow, shockingly, he was sick!! I know it was OH's stag weekend and he wanted to spoil his son but SERIOUSLY?! And just to complete the moan, DSS is 16, can he not get his head IN the loo?! SIGH.
Anyway, my whole body hurts as I am so tired. And now we need to drive to Monmouth to deliver DSS to his mum who is on holiday there. A four hourish round trip is not something I need today.0 -

15 minutes...
Sweep and mop the floor - I'll leave this until I've finished baking

Clean the sink and slush the drain out - will do once all the dishes are washed.
I've also cleaned out the fridge, put the breakmaker on, weeded the front when I put the recycling out and munched some grapes.
Now I'm going to sit back with a coffee and watch something for HH until the WM or breadmaker is finished.
