    Hi Guys

    Thanks for all your posts.

The ex husbands new gf is a solicitor/lawyer or something along those lines so is threatening court action each time things do not go his way.

He intially rang the travel company to change the names which were successful a few months back. This was either the ex husband fraudlantly using the inlaws name and password or a massive mess up by the travel company.

The travel company then realised this after being contacted by the ex wifes solicitors as she had been removed from the booking which she had part paid for. About a week ago the booking had been reverted back to the original booking due to the ex husband not paying the name change fee. Which i think was in part a cop out or escape route for the holiday company.

As far as im aware he cannot put blame on anyone as no one is stopping him from still going if he so wishes, the booking is still as it was originally booked.

My in laws were just worried by what were more than likely empty threats.

They are not worried who goes and who doesnt are obviously just not happy at getting treats from this guy, empty or not.

Obviosuly i was hoping to gain a little more info to reassure them there would be nothing he can do.

Its just a shame some people have to get nasty.

In hindsight it would have been easier to get everyone to sit down and sort an agreement a month ago however none of what happened was invisiged and the ex husband is being totally un-reasonable and un-amicable not just about the holiday.

I think its a massivecase where he has been caught out and is now trying to blame everyone else for his mistake and threatening where he can to try and get his own way.

The in laws have even tried changing the booking to seperate themselves from the mess however the travel company have been totally un-helpful with this saying it would have to be a complete new booking.

Thanks for all the replys too btw.

There is no way that there are any repurcussions for your in laws, and no such injunction exists which will prevent them from travelling. No court can restrict freedom of movement unless an offence has been commited by your in laws.

Ignore the idiot and have nothing more to do with him

Solicitors can issue their opinion on headed paper.....

Oh well, she sounds just LOVELY ;)

Just the sort of person you want to go on holiday with.

Is there anyway the travel company would be willing to separate the bookings? So that your in-laws booking just becomes stand alone and then the warring couple can sort themselves out? I know it's a long shot but might be worth an ask. :o
