I do too, the boom has been and.... well boomed! Although I still enjoy making various versions, just for my own amusement really and for my family of gannets to eat - I wouldn't do it as a business unless you had a tea rooms or something.
My 'ficticious' company was called 'Hello Cupcake!' I had the logo and everything (I'm a designer so I was just mucking about with ideas, also just for my own amusement).Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -
None of them - they are all far too long, too hard to pronounce, and easy to misspell / misread.0

I didn't vote as there was no option for none of themEarly retired - 18th December 2014

It seems the cupcake has had its boom time, wonder whats next? these cronuts seem very popular in the states.
I am not sure about those cronuts at all. They look sickly. And what happened to cake pops? I never bought one as they seemed stupidly expensive for a tiny mouthful of cake.
My friend has a wedding cake business and she said she had one summer of making endless cupcake wedding cakes and then it completely died. She knows someone who started a business and used the word cupcake in the title and is now regretting it.
OP - I agree with everyone else. Those choices seem too hard to spell, old-fashioned (it's never good to be reminded of The Krankies!) and a bit childish (I'd assume you only made wacky cakes or cakes for children). I think it's better to have a neutral name for a cake company so that it still fits when cake fashions change.0 -
How about
Crumbs
Fancy Cake
Muchadoaboutcake
Forthesakeofcake
Mylittlecakeshop
Cake in the Window
Out of those I prefer Fancy Cake because its a play on words and fancycake.com would sound good. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

I will reserve judgement til I am there in November

We have two shopping centres in my local city, and each one has a pop up Cupcake stall, every month it seems there is a different operator as well as a couple of Cupcake shops and traditional sweet shops.
I havent bought any from the stalls, as mainly they dont sell coffee and to me they arent special enough for a celebration.
The local traditional baker who incidentally doesnt make any cupcakes does a roaring trade in artisan breads, traditional cakes, cream cakes and pastries gets my money as well as the local farm shop who does the most delicious bread.
After getting hooked watching Bristish Bake off, I have even done some baking for myself with varying results.
Having said that there is still good money to be made in catering, I just think the OP needs an angle or USP to stand above the million and one cupcake makers.0 -

I like for the sake of cake!
I think its the best suggestion in the thread. I dislike things with people's names in them personally...I think they sound.....like I could make them myself. Edit...fair to point out, I'm not the op's target though....I'd never buy cup cakes. I'd be disappointed if I logged on to fancy cakes and they were just nice enough cakes.0 -
