    Been away visiting family again.

Listening to a radio programme on the way home and the host was commenting how she has a friend who even keeps a little wallet in her bag with sorted coupons.

DS2 is off to volunteer on a summer camp for teenagers with special needs. (OH and I went to a charity dinner a while back to raise money for this and told DS2 about it, who was keen to help). I hope the organisers are aware how little experience he has. When he volunteered none of us realised it was residential. So it really is going to be 24 hours a day, he has to share a room with someone whose physical limitations mean he can't sleep in a strange room alone. He chose this camp because it was near home, now his first task is to supervise a coach load of kids from the other side of London to get them to the camp.

Really bad timing because we have family coming to stay on Monday.

I thought the coupon wallet was normal :D

Your DS2 will be fine with this - he will learn an awful lot and will come to realise just how lucky he is. As long as your son does not think he is going on holiday it should work out well for him and for the kids :)

Though, saying that, my DD tried to be a carer a while ago (didn't work out because the agency were rubbish) and she had heaps of training just for looking after mentally impaired people.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I clear cookies and the cache. I've had this 3 times this week. Anyone know how to sort it? It's the same on the app as well. :(

I've always used Google Chrome to check my APG and gone into incognito mode (press Control + Shift together and then N). I've never encountered any problems this way and have gone way over the limit on many occasions.

It won't be long before Mr A brings out his Xmas stock and I'm sure we'll be well looked after just like last year. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Good Morning,

Just scanning through trying to catch up. Thank you to the J#ffa OP. Will have to try this today.

Forgot to say in my post earlier that the East Coast vouchers can only be used on their routes. :(

    Have a great day :)

  • FC - I love your son's achievement list and it brought a few smiles to my face. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm planning a NSD as I've got 12 packs of jaffas which should last until November (thank you My Chicken).

The bin man did not look happy this week when he arrived to find a large number of finger tins out front. :rotfl:

They had been in the cupboard months, so I just thought why are we keeping hold of this junk that is taking up space. So they had to go. I did keep a couple thought for putting sewing kit in and stuff.

I have a massive urge to go and buy more JC. We don't need them. With DS2s calcs on how long they will last and the BBE dates, I have just the right amount.
So Im forcing myself to stay put by not wearing any make up.....that always works :o:rotfl:
