Good morning:). (With that permanent smile now stuck after it - I was thinking of just writing the greeting and reverting back to no smilie but, having used them, now their absence might wrongly imply I wasn't okay.) Anyway...
I'm contemplating whether to make this a NSD or not. I might venture out although there's no real desperate need for me to do a non-Muller/JC shop today - I'm sure my next shop (Avs T) will be fine tomorrow although I'm a little guardful if that's a word: it now is!) of price changeovers - looks like some offers due to change after today in T.
I'm just updating my lists offsite (yes, attempting in the end to cover all of them) and will post from them later, though it might not be today (almost certainly won't be today for all of them). I'll see what I can do - as soon as I'm finished with one, I'll be straight onto here!!
I've been wandering around (in virtual space, on msm) yesterday evening looking at T and S (for comparisons vs them of course:D) and various items have gone to various places that I'll retrieve once done!
Reason I'm now posting - sorry Northern Ireland - is I'm now onto vs W (I don't go through the 'savvy buys' of W as often, as usually there's not that much that I find at very good prices) and I have just noticed these:
Someone will tell me I'm up the wrong tree and that you can't use the vouchers off these:o:o - I don't know: despite its cheapness (or even paying us sometimes!) we've not gone for pizzas in this household:eek::o:o. Is it just the Ristorante ones (can't remember, could spend time trying to look but easier just to post straight here):
Dr Oetker Panebello Pomodora Mozarella (410g)
A £2.75:eek: (2 for £4.00) vs W's £1.49 (until early September)
Dr Oetker Panebello Pizza Carne Speciale (410g)
Same as above.
(Surely someone would have posted this info. before if these were good to go?:question:) Of course you'll need to know what other items put with that that compare well vs W. If you can hold out...;)
T vs A?
I'm currently investigating whether the Robertson's Classic Mincemeat is now a v.v. good T price prom. item (vs A) - msm saying T £1.39 and A 20p for me (and delightfully NA everywhere else) but wasn't there some suggestion some time ago that this wasn't comparing on the T PP? First port of call... for me, or for you, a.com to see if the 20p price really is on there. Could be very good if it works. Nice contribution back to the PP and effectively very little spend (20p on the item)*. Or a bigger disaster if it doesn't compare on the PP.
[Edit: Seems - on the face of it, good to go - described as "Robertsons Traditional Mincemeat 411g" on both a.com and t.com - a.com showing clear 20p price for me and t.com helpfully having £1.39 against it.]
* Okay, not as little as some JCs in A, but still...0 -

Has anyone JC'd yet this morning? I'm still debating whether to. There weren't many left last night but may have restocked by now. We're having a new bathroom fitted next month. I'm sure the workmen will be happy to have a JC or two with their tea. DH also taking some to work tomorrow to contribute to his office biscuit club. I'm self employed, but my office biscuit club will also be happy to help out with consumption0

Morning all,
Sun is trying to shine so I can get the towels/sheets dry that needed washing after cleaning out the airing cupboard.
It is so odd that those at the bottom of the pile have grey stripes where the dirt has gone up. Where did it come from? The bits that were resting on the wooden slats are still white. :rotfl:
Must dash as only just remembered JCs are still in the car from yesterday, don't want a choccy orange puddle.0 -
