Sea bass pan fried with garlic, chillies, shallots, ginger and soy sauce. With a salad of mizuna, wild rocket, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onion and red pepper.
The only things that were bought were the grated ginger root and the soy sauce. My OH caught the sea bass yesterday and I grew the rest:T
Yummmmm
I just had gyros, with home made pitta. Never made it before so quite pleased that it was edible :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Email to say order despatched, my second one, this time its all appearing, no pamper packs in this order just two other gift sets. Anyone with an order with just one pamper pack, like my first order, may not get the pp but if you ordered another set likely to get it, that's what happened with mine anyway.0

JCs worked from a 15.07 shop. Thanks OP. :T0

:hello: Evening!
Back from a short 'round trip' to and from A but:(:(it's not always easy with my 'condition' - took me over an hour but much of that instore rather than travelling - and now struggled in with the 'hoard' and (metaphorically) collapsed on the sofa. I'm alright really - just a sit down on the sofa now for the next one and a half hours:cool:.
I was awake about 10 (am). Here much of the afternoon and it took me - until 4pm:( before I finally went on my way to A. Things get done - but they get done slowly sometimes. All will be done but yet again anything from me to report will be so late in the day:(:(.
I was going to buy 8 boxes of JCs (as that's around the amount we will either give away or use in the time they've got left on them). I ended up picking up one more JC pack than I'd intended:eek: and didn't notice till the conveyor belt. I'm going  just because we might get through 8 but probably not 9 - but given the hoped-for reasonable net cost on them it doesn't really matter getting too much!;):D They'll have to be hidden away some of them though - as that concept just doesn't click with someone that lives here at all.
More disappointingly though (than having 9 boxes for 1p each:D) it wasn't a good day for wombles. Saturday is usually a very good time (I was informed recently) today I got a solitary one, and even that may turn out unusable. Give them some rain and it seems they hold tight onto their 24 pack rolly-back JC receipts:(:(. We need more dry Saturdays (and I definitely don't mean dry in the sense of no alcohol at all - in fact the contrary: my wish is for :beer: plenty of very expensive different booze and wine that's on price drop at the other store please, so that there are 8 different qualifying items at least in total).
Home, and got everything in, but still a lot of it to sort later - also wanting the TV on, I have a 'remote control' scare - where is it??? Searching and searching, where could it be? Where did I put it? Where has someone else picked it up and then put it whilst I was away?? Eventually....... long long pause afterwards.. turns out to be underneath this very laptop!
Then, belatedly at home, I turn on the telly, quarter past six...and  newsreader mistakenly says it's quarter past seven:eek::eek::eek:.
(They don't correct it either: good lord - don't make it even later than it is!:rotfl::rotfl:)0 -
Afternoon everyone:)Was going to take Nannylala for a quick trip to A's but just seen shes off out again! Looks like I'll be going alone;)
Evening just got in from a lovely day in Marlow with a friend and been in some lovely unusual shabby chic shops and really wanted to buy so much but was very good and did not reach for my purse too often ;)The weather was kind to us and we ended up having a lovely meal in the country pub on the way home.I got 4 Beautiful Royal Albert Bronte collection mugs in charity shop for a fiver.
Just having a catchup and saw DD Lala's post I am hoping she was not going for the JC with us all trying to watch our weight:rotfl::rotfl:Enjoy your Saturday evening and dont eat too many JC as not good for the waistline :eek:0 -

I said what if everyone got sick of them and wanted other biscuits.....he doesn't consider that getting fed up with Jaffas is a possibility. That's ok then
Thank you to my Chicken for finding the glitch :T
FC has your ds2 factored into this calculation how many boxes will be relocated in Liverpool with ds1 when he leaves for uni?:eek:fairclaire wrote: ». I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back

Hello all my little treasures. Does anyone know when the Tosco COD in store offer ends? Also, what are the chances of the Sada JC still running on Monday?
I won't get chance to go out until Monday. Knowing my luck, the offers will both be pulled by then.
So glad loads of you are benefitting. Don't eat all the JC at once or you will make yourself obese!:D:D
Very early doors Monday I feel - you've got to catch it before the system updates.:(Not very good (again) for some of those of us in England/Wales at least - whose stores stay shut after 4pm on Sundays and open later on Monday morning as opposed to having stayed open the 24 hours. You never know, it may work into mid-morning Monday - but I just feel it's very much of a risk.
I can hardly believe you can't find (or make) time to go out between now (even till 10pm shutting times tonight) and Sunday close. However I know what it's like as I have that in the daytime all weekdays:(.
As for the 'JC hunt', it was hardly a hunt for me - I doubt very few people actually know about this so they aren't buying them in truckloads off the shelves or offer displays. My more concern was that the A £1 'rollingback' may cause more people to be buying them. However, I found full shelves of Jaffas (and lots in the offer end as well), although they were somewhat depleted by the time I left;):D.
These JCs are v. good though (for those of us outside N Ireland, who have a Morries comp.), v good being on r-back, as it makes it more likely one of your womblees will buy them - just as long as they don't pick up any dratted Aero Mousses though:mad:.

No!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'll let him have his fun with them for nowIt's been a while since he's been able to calculate how long a big stash of things will last. He likes doing it with coke cans because to him that's an exact science. He gave up with loo rolls because there's too many variables
