Following on from a conversation in work today, if you won the lottery jackpot, would you continue your MSE ways?

I'm pretty sure I would. You just don't get the same adrenaline rush paying full price for stuff :rotfl:

Yes, its been a way of life for many years now, friends laugh at my antics, say they don't have the time, but I will be the one retiring early on my savings, I don't have to do it for the money, I do it because I can, and for the buzz and because it will help me in later years.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    Happy birthday Aau1.

Lovely to read so much good news on here today, and pleased too Markz123 that you've got a diagnosis.

Logie, get here early when you go to Harry Potter and you can go and have a play in our lovely new fancy T first.

In fact I'm off to T right now to do some fishing. Hoping to net a CoD or two :D

A lot of people on here are very well off I am sure (fancy cars and kids at private schools) while others are on the breadline. We all have one thing in common though and that is to pay as little as possible(preferably nothing) for the goods we buy.

Winning the lottery would make no odds to me - I would still womble like mad.....if I stopped I would never get to meet JEL again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wow this is turning out to be a good day :D

postman has just brought me a cheque from HMRC for £70 ( why I have no idea?? will worry about that later)
6 weeks worth of £8 off £40 spends at Sainsbos. I don't shop there often, so they must be missing me. I'll have to have a look at how best to use them :)

Congrats to your son fairclaire, you both must be very proud. :)

Postman has brought me 6 weeks' worth of Sainsbobs coupons too - £6 off £30 spend. I don't go in very often either and could be buying a few items of clothing over the next few weeks ;) Also got 500 bonus points coupon to scan with week 6 coupon.

I would if she used it

She is always so suspicious of me :( my only motive is to see my nephew. I've done so much for him and she doesn't even know how to say thank you

She never had kids cos she wanted them. She had kids as a meal ticket :mad::mad:
