Would the baby food still work against Sainsbury with their 12 for £6 offer?

best before dates are a recommendation. The likelihood is that tins in good condition can last well beyond their expiry date.

So don't throw away if there are any left in september either.

Simply open the tin and check. You'll will soon know if there is an issue as you will see mould.

i really came out in a sweat when i thought you were going to throw food away.:naughty:

Me too, we are still using the Princes tomatoes that were cheap got loads at the time and they are dated dec 2012. Still fine Mr TS used a tin last night to make his curry. :)

Not even started on the Paroli ones yet. :rotfl:

Good to see that they haven't enforced the limit, but the T&Cs do say per household (no definition of household or indication how policed - as you don't seem to be able to see how much you have claimed as a running total?), but assume two accounts at the same address therefore work within the same £45 limit if the limit is being applied?

It's per person according to their fb page

Can't link straight to it but look for a post by Paula Louise :)
Following on from a conversation in work today, if you won the lottery jackpot, would you continue your MSE ways?

I'm pretty sure I would. You just don't get the same adrenaline rush paying full price for stuff :rotfl:

I'd probably do more because I'd have more time when i gave up my job :rotfl:

Mine didn't. Bought the perfect 12 too! Versus sainsburys all 12 compared at 50p, even though I'd got the trigger.
Unless we can find a different trigger against sains?

    Evening all

Sorry but not caught up yet today.

    BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGIE:j

Fingers crossed it is all smiles in the FC household and that her ds1 got what he needed.
My niece got an A* for her photograpy a level and c for english lit. She is over the moon as had major emergency surgery 4 weeks beforeishop exams.

Major excitement here as ordered my new car today. Not collecting until mid october when other one expires but very exciting.

Managed a t's visit for all the lovely points they are giving with cod pre-orders
X2 and on 2 cards. Thanks to op for that as points will be low next quarter as had all my tcb quota for the year.

Tearing my hair out with sainsbobs chemist who insist I have collected some meds that were owing but I definately have not. Sticking with it out of principle as don't want them claiming back for drugs not dispenced plus they always seem to not put something in the right quantities whenever I collect.

    Right off to catch up.
