Did I read you posted pics from the airshow? If so can I be a pain and ask what time that was so I can go back and look. I am gutted we aren;t getting an airshow this year due to lack of funds.... the charge for ours at Lowestoft has always been voluntary and so many people don't donate it as they say they haven't got enough money, but you'd always find them up at the bar or down on the beach with a shed load of cans.
Talking of my DS, even at a very young age, and every year since, always insisted he took his donation money, the right amount, out of his money box to take with him to put in the bucket, even though I don't think they always expected the payments from younger kids. He wouldn't have been able to walk past the buckets without paying.

The Diagnosis thing isn't an easy one and obviously easier when they are younger ( my DS was 6) Savvy has Aspergers, my DS has ASD......he also has alot of physical problems ( more ASD than Aspergers)
I had absolutely no idea you were going through this Elsie:A. Im more than happy to talk to you about it if you like. By PM if you prefer? Im pretty open about everything but I know not everyone is. Please feel free to chat whenever and however you choose. Ive been lost in this stuff and I know how you feel. Bless you for sharing :A
Yes there don't seem to be many people that understand, and it is good to get it off my chest. I have struggled with him having always been on my own, and I am as firm with him as I know I need to be coz I know he CAN manage ok. One thing that does my head in is when I am at my folks, my DS is starting to go off on one for some reason, usually the input of lots of people going in at the same time, and I try to tell him firmly just to be quite, and my Mum starts having a go at me for 'having a go at him'. It tends to exculate things when she involves herself, where he would calm down if I could just get on with dealing with him alone. But I can't tell her (have tried so often) as she doesn't think she does anything wrong!!!!!
Thanks, yes, I may chat to you more sometime, as it's not easy, but you seem to cope wonderfully well. :A0 -

Thanks.
Wow, love it! I am so missing Lowestoft this year. And the Red Arrows aren't even able to do the Cromer Carnival.
Just hope my DS still wants to come with Mummy when it's on again next year, even though he'll be half way through his college course.0 -

I have learned to adapt my life to his. He can't help how he is, I can! I know it's not always that easy in reality. I stand on the doorstep and wait until 8:42 until we leave for school, because that's the time it takes to walk the 158 steps to school........
I have gotten rid of all of the analogue clocks in my house, we live by SKY TV and computer clocks only because nothing else is reliable. I haven't always been this accommodating, Ive just learned to be. It's small changes to me, but the world to him.
I'll be happy to talk to you anytime lovey :A0
