Agree totally, I do several of these and have to be really quite firm to try to stop being messed about.it only works 80% of the time. I had one buyer bid then asked me to post it, I wouldn't and anyway couldn't as it was gesso and may have broken.didnt pick up for 6 weeks, gave me 1 hours notice she was coming. As she left my house she spat" you should have posted it" then gave me negative feedback- hmm nice

Good job not all buyers are that horrible. Still, there does seem to be far more disadvantages to collection than advantages. It's fine for some things so long as you have a good buyer, but I'm certainly glad it's not the only option when selling.

Meh, small unimportant detail lol.

On a more serious note, carboots are more fun when it's someone elses items. You don't need to worry about the costs or anything. Just challenge yourself to see how much you can sell or for how much and not worry about the amount you actually end up with.

lol yeah. Could be a long list though. Can not think of a single website that specialises in finding the value of toys and google has been no help.

Don't you just search on eBay on each individual item, previously sold.
If its a long list, yes you have to make the effort or risk losing money.

I've looked at selling and previously sold as well done general web searches. I've tried searching different keywords, descriptions etc. Some items just don't come up with any result at all, or it comes up with something similar but not quite right.

For example, I have a disney lion king jigsaw puzzle. Now, yes, there are a number of puzzles for the lion king. However, not a single one is the same image as the one I have, nor are any the same brand (Waddingtons) and I can't find it anywhere. The puzzles I can find vary in price so how much is mine worth? How can I possibly find out?

Sell it for 50p, kids jigsaw as dont sell as well as adults
