It seemed like I'm going to be one of the people who got ripped off by these scammers, but after finding this thread and reading up all the stories, here's what I've done, and if you find yourself in my situation, you should do the same: I have contacted my local consumer advice line and they said by sending them my laptop I'm protected under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 and this company is in breach of contract. They said I should write them an email saying exactly that. I should give them 7 days to pay me, and say if they don't I'll bring the matter to court. So I've done exactly what they suggested. Sent them an email yesterday at 10:23 am. 27 MINUTES LATER THE MONEY WAS ON MY ACCOUNT!!! I hope this will help you too!!!

I wish I read this post before sending sellyourlaptops.co.uk scammers my laptop. 2 weeks after they received it and "accepted it", I am still waiting for the payment. They won't reply to my emails either.
I did what londonwaterisvile suggested and threatened them with the court. Emailed them today so fingers crossed!

The day I threatened them with all the legal procedures possible, I finally got their automated email saying the payment was sent. The money finally arrived in my bank account! Though I got no explanation or apology for such a delay and why there were not answering my previous emails, I am just happy to have it sorted and move on. I will take this whole thing as a learning experience and warn others to stay clear of such companies !!
