Is the 8GB Nexus 4 enough?
Just got back from France where some scumbag stole mine and my girlfriend's phones while we were sleeping. Turns out my budget travel insurance won't cover mine. Anyway, I've been thinking about a Nexus 4 for a while but wondered if the 8GB will be enough or should I save for the 16? My Nexus S always had about 11GB free space but I don't know if the Nexus 4 uses more for the OS. Thanks for any advice you may have

I have one and I have no problem with it being 8GB. I don't need/want to store lots of data on it. A new one will have about 5.5GB of free space.0

it depends entirely on how you are going to use!

If you don't plan on storing loads of music / videos on it, then yes.
But if in doubt, go for the 16 gb.0 -
Personally with no add on sd card then it would have to be 32GB .Cloud storage would lessen that maybe .
But i have 5GB Music and 13GB of video as a norm plus maps .

There are plenty of cloud storage options around from Dropbox, Mega, Skydrive, Google Drive, Amazon Cloud Drive and Box which was offering 50GB for life for Nexus 4 users.0

Took a wee while to get used to it after being used to an iPhone 4 but the speed in comparison is amazing.
and an hour after posting this, I had it in my jacket pocket which I flung on a chair, then took the phone out to find the glass back had shattered. Arrrgh!
Moral of the story, always keep it in a suitable case.0
