You are posting unverifiable opinion. You are claiming you post verifiable facts.

I think that just about sums up what value to atttach to your posts.
I never said you could visualise an insulin level. I said you can affect hormone levels by visualisation. That is verifiable. just think od something scary and adrenaline will increase. You go on about fasting reducing insulin levels without understanding anything about insulin production or the other hormones associated with metabolism.

I said insulin sensitivity (this is proven), the fact you think sensitivity is the same as levels shows your ignorance and lack of authority on the subject yet again.

So what evidence that visualising your insulin levels lower works then?
Actually you said level. sensitivity is affected by several factors and you cant really discuss them without discussing other hormones and when those were brought up on your thread it was called trolling. Try and learn something about the mind biody connection.

I said levels when replying to your posts as you mentioned levels so technically you are correct on that one, have a cigar well done - any other time I referred to them, I referred to sensitivity or on one occasion fasting blood glucose level.

You said you can affect hormone levels by visualisation, insulin is a hormone. I asked "So what evidence that visualising your insulin levels lower works then?" I did not asked you to visualise them as in see them, I asked for any evidence that by the act of visualising you could make them lower. Nice attempt at a deflection.

As for the mind body connection, I can achieve Zanshin, Mushin and Fudõshin what more do I really need?

It states that the sizes on that chart don't reflect the commercial clothing sizes.

    No, they can't.
I am the measurements there and I wear size 8-10.

So what are these measurements for??

    Get slim by visualisation??
    Self hypnosis??
Refering to cordial at the pub as a treat (it reads like it, not that it actually says)??

I am definitely a lesser human being...

I think I will stick with a fluff like 5:2 and try to make myself eat smaller portions and change my life style that way...

So that you can measure yourself and buy the right sized pattern and make clothes that fit you properly.

If the cart makes PP a 10 and she is usualy a 6 - is it American sizes mislabeled?

    It doesn't work.

I sew from Burda. Their pattern sizing is similar to the one given. I sew size 10 (as that is what I am), even though if I went by the chart sizing I should be sewing size 16... ?? And if I did sew the size 16, it would be far too big. The size 10 actually has a room for movement...

    Maybe it is just me.

I've just watched episodes 1-3 on youtube and I thought the series was very interesting. In particular the part where it said that it is far more important to be fit and healthy than it is to be thin - so a "fat" person who gets plenty of exercise will on average live longer than a "thin" person who spends all day vegging out.
