i think what they meant by
With the 25% off deal, it would of clearly stated 25% off online, but the deal is only available on specific dates.
is that on the final order pages that gave the final cost it would have been

    cost £****
    25% discount £***
    final price £****

  • Right, i'd really like your views here as i STILL believe i'm being done out of an offer.
And don't get this confused - i'm quite happy to be proved wrong. If i don't qualify then so be it, but after their 2nd response, i still believe i should qualify.

    Their response:
The offer that you are referring to only applies to Jurys Inn Rewards members or anyone who is on the Jurys mailing list. Unfortunately we do not have any offers with vouchercodes.co.uk.

    1) Funny how voucher codes mentions it
    2) This is irrelevant anyway as i clicked directly on the J.I. website.
    3) I don't see the bit where it says it's ONLY available to Jury's Inn rewards members or people on a mailing list.

Also, the 25% offer is subject to availability and even though it might state on the front page of the website that we offer discounts, they might not be available on all dates.

I agree. It says it's available between a timeframe, which my stay is. I don't see the point here.

Here are the T&Cs that i found: http://www.jurysinns.com/24hoursale

And to save people clicking the link:
    • Jurys Inn 24 Hour Sale is only available online. (i booked it online, so check)
    • The Jurys Inn 24 Hour Sale is valid only for bookings made between 0.00 and 23.59 on 7th August 2013. (mine was made at 23:15 on 7th Aug, so check)
    • Jurys Inn 25% discount of our Flexible (Best Available) Room Only Rate is valid for stays between 1st October 2013 until 31st of March 2014. (I'm staying in November 2013, so check)
    • Rate requires full prepayment at the time of booking, charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. (i did this - check)
    • Rates are non refundable and are non transferable.
    • All dates are subject to availability and some exclusions apply. (i don't see any specification. What's the exclusions? That Jury's Inn don't offer it to ANYONE?)
    • Jurys Inn 24 Hour Sale rates do not include breakfast. (i get my breakfast elsewhere)
    • Jurys Inn 24 Hour Sale rates are strictly subject to availability. (Well it says it was available, so i should get it)
    • Jurys Inn 25% off promotion is limited to up to 2 adults & 2 children sharing. (we booked 2 adults - check)
    • Discount levels are based on our Best available Rate product only. Discounts are not available on any other rate product including promotional and advance purchase rates.
    • Rates returned will be our Best Available Room Only Rates for your chosen date and location inclusive of the 25% discount as applicable. Prices are per room per night. (i guess this is for those saying that it'll say at the end 25% off. No, it says it's inclusive. So the following day the price should've gone up. It didn't).
    • Jurys Inn reserve the right to withdraw this promotion at any time and without prior notice. (well it was there when i booked & shortly after i booked)
    • All bookings charged in local currency.
    • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

As said, i'm more than happy to be shown why i don't qualify, but their responses sound like excuses to me & goal post moving.
  • Also, does anyone know of a contact for some HQ regarding a complaint with this?

I've googled complaints but it seems to say my complaint is to be directed at the hotel i booked with. That'll be a 1 way ticket into the bin then i'm quite sure. It'd be better if i could send it to some HQ somewhere, but i've no contact for this.
