remember to check the ingredients list, some only had 50% fish, I bought a fishfinger at half price promo, thought itd be fine because it's one of the big brand ( it was either Young's or Birds Eye). It tasted like a fish and potato finger, I felt cheated.

Birds Eye make a big play of saying that theirs are made with "100% cod fillet" - grossly misleading advertising! Most of the supermarket own brand fish fingers actually contain more fish that Birds Eye.

I like Birds Eye, but only on offer. A bit of a spend on fish fingers still makes it a cheap meal. (And a favourite here.)

Cod - boring, coarse textured and flavourless. I prefer pollack.

M&S do chunky ones I've heard good things about. Jamie also does a range - I think sainsburys sell them.

I'm an odd ball - I prefer the battered ones to the breaded ones.

I was going to say the M&S ones look good!

its only misleading if you think a fish finger is 100% fish.

Smartprice or Savers fish fingers. 60p a box or something like that. They go down nicely in a fish finger buttie!

I don't know what goes in them but they must be legal. :p
