Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! LC2 is back :j :j :j
Congratulations Bambimy DS was due 2 days after my birthday but the little so and so started as he meant to go on and was 10 days late and had to be forced out even then  :rotfl: 12 years on and nowts changed, late for everything and has to be shoehorned out the door :rotfl: :rotfl:
£5 in the pot today from a FB salepot is looking really healthy now
On a more horrible note, my mum seems to be having a really bad run of luck this month, she had a suspected drunk driver hit her car a few weeks ago and drive away and then yesterday took my kids out to get DD a picture for her bedroom and in the middle of the road was a car seat (an actual seat from a car not a kids seat ), she couldn't avoid it and its wrecked the front of her car
Everyone was fine which was the main thing but the insurance company managed to send the tow truck and the taxi to the wrong place (25 miles away!) leaving them stood in the dark and cold on their own for over 2 hrs
shes beginning to think shes jinxed as last halloween she drove home from mine and hit a massive branch that was in the middle of the road that had fallen off someones truck on their way to the tip we suspected  she's said shes not driving in october any moreSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
ah....but if you hadn't worked hard, Lynsey, then you wouldn't have got the self-discipline in order to save, see!
Make Christmas the best possible for you, charleybear, don't spend more than you can afford on others, in fact make a pact with them to keep presents reasonable to help all of you. Re your family, always seek to build bridges if possible and if olive trees are extended - grab them while you can as it may be too late one day. Be happy.
A very good price for your hair, jakes-mum, keep her on! Your poor Mum! I think I'd be inclined to keep off the road in Octobers too from now on. Thank Heaven everyone was safe!
You're doing so well, Helen, definitely go to work, with a smile on your face too now all that saving is possible. A brilliant job with the 50p College-Kill too!
It's really good to hear you have others like you to chat to, Nell, I bet they say that about you too! :happyhear Give yourself treats like the nails as it'll help you feel so good about yourself..and happier! :happylove OK then, forget the hair...for now.
Are you getting just a little excited, Verityemilia?
Don't worry too much about posting, LittleOwl, you concentrate much more on saving.Bambisbelle wrote:Got a bit of good news myself I'm currently 6 months pregnant :j due the day before my birthday!!
Congratulations on such wonderful news, Bambisbelle!!!! :j (<--you'd best not do tht at the moment!) I had our Son 2 days before my own - what a gift!! Totally unintentional too. Good to see you - at last!
It's ridiculous how we keep so much rubbish by, little_sweetie, after T & I sorted Mary's house we came back and did ours right through while the going was good and got rid of loads!
Aha, you're back at last, LC 2!!!! You didn't say if you'd had a lovely time or not..about the weather etc??
Good to see you, Ellie!
A whole £25 to pop in the pot for Mr UU and I! Well happy!! :jKeep saving hard, potters, and bear in mind that every penny counts!!

NSD today - so fiver has gone in the pot - that's my purse empty now!
Had fun this morning - my mum came over and we decided to give the wig a haircut. I like Rod Stewart but at 42, I don't really want my hair looking like his, which is what happened when the wig arrived back at the shop. Anyway, not complaining as the NHS and MacMillan funded it, mum just got the scissors to it today, on the basis that I wasn't going to wear it as it was so if she ruined it we had nothing to lose, really.......but she did a great job and we did have a laugh whilst she was chopping at it. Will definitely be wearing it now when it gets colder out and I need some insulation on my headSPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)
