A very warm welcome, lynnejk and pinknfluffy28. It's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourselves saving (and start straight away) and join in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.lynnejk wrote:Hiya. Thanks for the welcome and I will wait for my number to come through before I start anything. Looking forward to getting to know you all and it seems I have a bit to catch up
lynnejk, you might be thinking differently about the last bit soon, boy are there a right couple of [STRIKE]eejits[/STRIKE] SPCers trouble-makers here - especially to me!!!! :rotfl:
Good Heavens above, jakes-mum, when you spend you SPEND!! Glad you're feeling better now.
By golly, you're feeling very happy with everything, Helen, good to hear.
Hellooo there, mommyof4, it's lovely to see you again, sorry to hear about the laptop problems. If you're talking about catching up with reading the posts missed, I'd forget it, but if you're talking about catching up on saving - go for it!!! :jLynsey wrote:Sue - yes, the "last lap" start Friday. Lol
I potted 2 x £2 coins and a 50p coin = £4.50. The £2 coins came out of the s/scan till warm!! Might need more of those during the winter!!
I know what you're talking about with the first bit, Lynsey, but the latter? I haven't a clue???!!
Oh dear charleybear, I'm so sorry to hear your news, but if it wasn't going to work, then you're best off apart. Here's a huge {{{hug}}} for you. You come on back as soon as you're ready, there will always be a HUGE welcome on your return. Meanwhile, very best wishes to you and if you need an ear, there's one by PM - or hundreds here on the thread.Re the saving, don't you worry about it, I promise you it's ok. BTW, your family are absolutely right. You'll find the right man, who's worthy of you, at the right time - you'll know that out when it happens.
Please don't worry, shinner, we all understand when other SPCers hit upon rough times, but at least you had it saved and that's a blessing! You don't need to rejoin next year, we just continue on...there's no getting free from us!salduck wrote:I will open early I think as away to Oz on the 6th December and need to know how much and get it changed etc!
That's ok, Sal, just please be sure to let us know how much you've saved so I can include it in the Grand Total and sparky can pop it on his spreadsheet. You be sure to have the time of your life! I was going to say, think of us, but that's hardly likely now is it??!
Nell, sporting out with the vouchers to take the family for a celebration meal is a GRET idea! They've been there with you throughout it all, so why not! :kisses3:
Oi, dinglefoot, you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself at spending behind your OH's back, get a grip girl for Heaven's sake!!Well, you did say.
Good to hear you've been inspired, mommyof4, in which case you should come on here more regularly. BTW, to help your siggy, put your challenges 5 & 6 on the SPC line, that'll help no end. PS, "Zerbrochen" is the right spelling for broken in German and "Kaput" means out of order. We're getting mighty close now, potters, so go all out and save like mad!
Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -

Evening all. A few woes around sadly. Take care all.
pinknfluffy28 - welcome and good luck. Hopefully get that Xmas shopping "free" next year.
I potted 2 x £2 coins and 20p coin = £4.20 potted.
Sue - the £2 coins weren't warm this time, so no good for the cold winter months to warm my hands ........................ good for potting though.
£628+ potted and last day tomorrow and then into the final month.
Good luck everyone. There's still time to amass some Xmas cash.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words,
I'm feeling much better about it now, I'm sad its over
but I'm happy to have time to myself and to actually focus on my
money goals & other non-financal goals.
I realized my ex was dragging my money goals down as he kept guilt tripping me into spending when I should be saving.
I took £5 out of my pot but only to be used in emergency if anything happens until I get paid.SavingsRepayment: £0/£359.00
