What are people who've done them thoughts on tns cars - worth the hassle ? More/less/same work as bare ?
Been asked to do some just considering options.
I stopped bare as I'd exhausted all the dealers in my city and about 50 mile radius over the years and didn't want to keep going back

I'm very selective about the TNS car shops I do and only do the ones that have the higher fee (5 x TNS current phone shop). Is that ok to put on here??

I'm doing one today that is nice and easy, but I did one a few months ago and as soon as I enquired about the vehicle spec, it raised the salesman suspicions. Asking about a vehicle that he said, no one in their right mind would buy. As soon as I started adding the ridiculous extras, he became very suspicious.

Anyway, at the end of the assignment, after the final visit, he started joking about Mystery Shoppers, telling me that they always get them, and they always ask for ridiculous vehicles with awful specs!!!!

I wouldn't mind but I've pulled off shops for £70k vehicles with ease.

Anyway, I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Have never done a BARE vehicle shop, so can't comment on them.....but a good TNS vehicle spec (and they've changed the whole brief, it's soooo much better) is a nice assignment to do.

    Thanks
If the option to single visits is there that's better than the wave of 8-10 bare ones a day I used to do by which I was exhausted by the time reports had been done
Those fees if the norm sound better than bare too

Well I applied for 5 dealers and got just this one. They do involve a second visit, but you can change your visit dates if you need. The most I've ever done was 3 in one day.

TNS also do a smaller, cheaper visit, I think, but I've never done any of these.

I've got a couple of TNS cars to do by 20th. The survey to complete isn't showing in my shop log when I click on the Job.

I'm able to view the spec I need to shop and brief. I just assumed they still hadn't finalised the shop am I missing something here???

These are the 1st car shops I've done for TNS did a few for Bare the other week they were such hard didn't seem worth the hassle for the fee.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Not accepting a job - it's putting up flyers to recruit for new MSers in the area!!!!!!!

I don't want competition to the limited amount of jobs round here.

go back a second time isn't particularly appealing and if that fee is for the two is kind of on par with what I was getting with bare. It's bad enough squeezing every penny from the the first time let alone having to go back a second time and still not buying it.
  • I'm having log in problems with tns how do I contact someone to sort it out does anyone know?

My Survey Submit date is greyed out and says 14/10/13. However, everything else is there, due date, etc.
