That was me and I asked a simple question end of. I'm not going to look on MF for jobs I have no intention of doing, hence the question. I don't drink alcohol so that alert was no good to me as it was slang.

Ask questions here, not in the alert thread where everyone who subscribes to it gets an email alerting them that there new jobs posted.

    Its a fairly simple concept.

We use cryptic terms so as to avoid naming clients, as this can cause a breach of contract between ourselves and the mystery shopping company.

If you don't know what one of them means ("slappers" took me ages, even though I was doing them, so to speak), ask in this thread and someone will normally be happy to pm you.

We keep the alerts thread specifically for alerts, that way we can set email subscriptions up, so that as soon as a post is made, we get an email, which in a lot of cases goes straight to shopper's phones.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Does anyone use the Lawmate PV500 Lite 2? Do mystery shopping companies recommend them?

Any help would be appreciated as I am thinking of purchasing one.

Only way to answer that is ask the companies you plan to work for, the spec looks a bit low if you are working for ones that need a HD file, mind I'm not sure why anyone would need a mystery shop cammed in HD.

Has anyone ever heard of someone being taken on by a MS company on a full time basis...?

A friend is claiming their partner is a "Full Time Mystery Shopper" after being asked by the company to MS exclusively for them.... but funnily enough he won't say which company.

If you mean full time as an employee in the field - nope, that sounds like porkies.

There is at least one company I know of who do employ a full time mystery shopper in my immediate area. I have been told by two of their allocators when I asked why I got very little, if any, allocations.

These are not high end jobs, they are more places where you would visit almost every other day anyway so would not stand out like a sore thumb.

I was invited by a video mystery shopping company to start doing video shops for them, and told that most of their video shoppers don't find they need to work for anyone else, so yes, it is possible, though it would have still been on a self-emp basis.
