No problem. I know you have not asked me for advice but if I were to give you just one suggestion this would be it. Don't be too harsh or critical when making your observations. It may be your honest opinion but it is not appreciated. I have never given a false report but it does appear to help if you keep things as positive as possible. On saying that I have very rarely had a negative experience and enjoy doing the visits once I got used to looking a bit of a Billy no-mates.
I agree. One of my reports was fairly negative, and they were emailing me for weeks after asking for more information. Now if I write something vaguely critical I always say something positive too alongside it.
Also good point about looking like a Billy no mates, I never understand why you have to do those visits alone? Surely it would look less suspicious to be with other people too??0 -
I was gobsmacked. I actually checked it twice, as I was brain-fried from reinstalling my life after getting my phone back wiped from the idiots at EE, but it was there at the top of the list of transactions into my account.0

7 hours.
2 big reports completed with mountains of detail and lots of photos.
Took forever. Visit and reimbursement worth it, but 7 flipping hours!
Just need some empathy peeps as OH keeps saying "You STILL doing that thing?"Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Perhaps we could refer them to the support group 'Shop-anon'arghhh!!!0 -
I have to say that there are a lot of reports out there that are growing in size and content requirements but shrinking in payment - I'm not impressed by a lot of the travel ones...they are a total faff!:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0

You have to go by yourself to give the crew the chance to excel.
Don’t make the mistake of viewing it as a MS.
McGyp is a highly competitive team sport, requiring multiple and sometimes quite complex skills.
From the basic things like observation, detection, speed and accuracy of delivery, to the more arcane and advanced arts, including putting the slippery floor sign in front of the bog door before we can get in there.
Have to say I am a big fan.arghhh!!!0 -
i do have to smile when I see a ms company who took a project from another by offering 1/2 the pay to the shoppers and obviously undercutting the total cost, begging people to try and take them by doubling the fee to that which the other company paid as standard before premiums on top. im still not taking them. hopefully the client will have some penalties in place for not meeting store target numbers and they will lose the contract to another who pays a decent fee0
