Just been looking at some phone shop jobs on TNS SASSiE site but can't see any fee mentioned? Am I missing something somewhere or is it normal to get very little information on what you have to do and how much you might be paid? I did a job for them from the VAS site a while back and there was a lot more info available on there, which is why I'm wondering if I've missed something?
  • None of the details on scenario/fee etc are actually on the "details" link, but they are visible when you click on "apply". Stupid way of doing it, but there you go.

Oh right! Thanks I'll take a look, very strange way of doing it indeed!

Anyone else signed up for a few nights in a hotel with Douglas?
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Always worth asking with MF, I've found them quite receptive.

Yup. They have increased fees on bed shop and opticians round here that have been hanging for months. It annoys me, they won't accept offers to do they job and then they put the fees up anyway!

I will wait with bated breath to see what they do in my area. IMHO the rates for the beds need to be approx double to be comperable to other agencies that offer similar assignments. I only do Mf work if it works with other work I am doing in the area. The banal queries from proof readers really questions why I even bother to continue. I appreciate you can get nice lunches/dinners if this floats your boat.

TBH, I've just about dropped MF completely. My last job was 2 months ago and that was just a lunch job. Real shame is I used to love doing their bookie jobs, but their pittance of a fee, for the work involved, has totally put me off.

In the last year and a half the only MF jobs I've done have been in airports when on holiday. And, surprisingly, the cheap supermarket jobs but only with a much increased fee.
I'm amazed they get their jobs covered at all in my area. (Lowly populated, few MShoppers, with small towns miles apart). Their fees dont even cover the fuel costs.

I am intrigued - I have been sent an email from JKS for the death jobs at a higher fee which are currently being advertised by ESA. I am assuming the end client has got fed up with ESA and moved to a different agency unless JKS and ESA are related. There seems to be loads of them..
