I don't think the deadline for submitting your tax return is the date you're expected to pay them.

I went self assessed in Feb 13, tax man asked me to complete a tax return for TY 12/13, which I completed in May 13 and I have a small tax bill, that I will have to pay on 31 Jan 14.

It is the same date yes. The deadline for the 12/13 return is 31 Jan 2014, same as the deadline for payment.

I haven't been paid yet either, sent numerous message through their website and emailed them lot's of times, haven't even received an acknowledgement of those messages, yet somehow they still seem to be able to send me 'urgent' follow up email to a later mystery shop that I completed with them. I've informed them that I am not completing any more work for them until I get paid for the shops that I've already done as I certainly cannot afford to keep paying out for shops and not receiving any payment for them. Personally I think it's disgusting and once I've received payment for ALL shops completed with GAPBUSTER I shall be closing my account and using companies that DO pay on time.

Don't get me wrong, Gap are not my fave company by a long shot but they have always paid me what I'm owed. How long is it since you completed the jobs, did anything go wrong?

A lot of people forget that you get paid at the end of the month after you complete the job. So if you did a job on the 1st Aug then you get paid at the end of September. It's a long time to wait.

Unless they stipulate a different deadline date. I had to submit my 12/13 return by mid Jun 13, but will pay my owed tax on 31 Jan 14.

Well that appears to have worked as they have disappeared from ESA - somebody has picked them up. Thought they would never clear! I am currently being 'haunted' with clothes shops assignments in Ireland, no clue as to why they are appearing in my view.

Anyone noticed a discrepancy on the recent payments for TNS phone jobs?
Specifically the grouped ones which require a number of visits per day for a longer term project.
