  • I've been offered a jewellery shop by bare. First time i've done this and the notes say you can keep the item but just wondering if you're allowed to return it and get a refund?

I was told that I couldn't return any test purchases and if one is returned they find out and ban you (I guess they make a note of the receipt numbers?)

Best not take the risk and stick it on ebay/give as a gift

Not worth it, they'll find out and then that's it. I've done quite a few of these jewellery shops and the items have always sold very well, at a good price, on e-bay.

Does anyone have a view on how many items you would need to secretly price check on a weekly basis for the project that ESA is advertising?

Wondering if there are any old hands out there who may have done this work before......

Not sure, but inside the survey it says which Businesses are involved, and you can name which towns you want to go to, which may help. I only have a couple of them near me, but I know they are quite small.

A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work
  • Has anyone ever done one of the big attractions with hotel on React? I've just applied for one but i'm a bit apprehensive as it states there are over 100 questions to complete. Also it's a lot of money to shell out if something goes wrong and i don't get paid.

Hello headcrash27. I did recently do a multi-part big attraction for them but no hotel and that was 100+ questions and I have to say it was quite arduous and dare I say tedious and although I would do another I think it would be to somewhere that I specifically want to visit to make it more worthwhile. I wouldn't just chose one for the sake of it or because it was nearby like I do with other jobs and like all visits it will no doubt get easier when I have done a few. There was just so much to take note of and do for this one that it almost became a burden but the kids had a great time and so did I when I could. I was amazed at just how much it costs to go to some of these attractions when paying on the door though.

As for outlay/payment well I cannot comment on that as you probably know and it is just a risk we have to take isn't it.

Hope you have a good time, if you can.:rotfl:

Thanks for your feedback, i think i'm going to cancel it. We were thinking of going there anyway but i'm just worried i won't be able to enjoy myself if there is so much to take note of. Also i think i would rather pay and try and find a bargain than run the risk of not getting paid etc.

I've just had an email from ESA saying i've been approved but on logging in there appears to be no new information in the inbox, just the same questionnaire as before.
