    its becoming a joke

Saw that the other day and thought it was rather extreme. Not sure what the attraction to RA jobs is really. Low fees, and take ages to pay and seem to pay out randomly when they feel like it. Ok if you are passing the door on another job but wouldn't go out my way to do one.

Has anyone every had a reply from Gap having sent them a message on their contact page. I am beginning to think that it is a waste of time even trying to contact them.

I've probably only ever had 1 reply from sending them a message on their system.

I did two last minute jobs for them at the end of Feb. Oddly, both jobs, on their system, were down as breakfast visits, even though I did them as one lunch visit and one dinner visit.

Three messages later, to tell them that the reimbursement was wrong, and the amount shown is still incorrect. A frickin pain in the asse!!!!

I never used to but a few months back I got a reply from a really helpful chap and ever since then I have used him as a contact and replies have been pretty much instantaneous to the point that I wonder when he goes home as he always seems to answer so quickly. Cannot believe how useful this has been as I was always wary of contacting Gap before but now I just email my new bff. He has sorted out a number of issues I have had with 'forced reschedules' and increased premiums :D etc among other things.

Unfortunately this reply isn't going to conclude with any direct help for you I'm afraid as I aim to protect the identity of my-man-on-the-inside at all costs as I have a funny feeling Gap would dislike such an accommodating member of staff working for them. On saying that it cuts both ways as I have been more helpful to them in the last couple of months than ever before.

All I would say is that if you ever get a reply try to keep open a channel of communication with that person and you just never know.

    Good luck.

gives you an insight to the size of some companies any how and why you should have no hesitation in asking for premiums if they or others ring... along with their special name for us shoppers...

Normally they are pretty good at replying to me, apart from my latest message asking when they were going to be paying out for January assignments, which seems to have gone mysteriously unanswered - fancy that!

Previous messages I sent were generally offering to take on assignments for premiums that have been hanging about for a while though so I can see why they would answer those ones.

Still no updated message on the website re: Jan pay, nor any email or reply to my enquiry on their website - that 5th pillar of communication that gets mentioned in the video is looking a little crumbled at the moment.

Funniest thing was, all the related videos shown down the right hand side when I was watching this were about scams of one kind or another :D
