If someone travels to their normal place of work, but picks up a MS job on their way home, what mileage, if any, can they claim against the MS job?

    Cheers.

Personally I don't claim mileage on jobs I do on my way to or from work unless i'm going out of my way.

I've worked out my mileage to work which is 14 each way. If I was to drive home one night and do a few visits which would increase my mileage to 20. Then I would claim 6.

Well, MS work round here is still dry as a bone. Feeling a bit cheesed off with the lack of it now we're halfway through Feb.

It really must be a geographical thing as I'm losing so much at the moment being off with a viral chest infection, no sick pay being a *perk* of self employment. Companies sending daily lists with work begging to be coverered
do you limit yourself to a very small travel area?
i had a higher profit in first two weeks of Feb than I made in whole of January, so on the whole Its been a good month till now

Trying to book my first job with PIP, when the calendar comes up, all the dates are red and it won't let me book it. Am I doing something wrong or should I contact them?

You've moved the calendar on to March haven't you?

Definitely must be a geographical thing. I've made nearly double my monthly target for this month so far, and that's on jobs already completed. Not doing much this week as the children are off, but got 2 days booked in for next week.

This month has been great, likewise January. With ever dwindling fees and people nabbing all of the cheap jobs as soon as they are released building a good rapport with allocaters is what it is all about (and being reliable)

The first two weeks this month have been very good, and I got few visits this week, though I am not doing too much now because of school holidays.
Being unwell with no sick pay is indeed no picnic. Did you manage to reschedule your planned jobs? Last year I was unwell, and I managed to move the jobs I was supposed to do without cancelling them all together. Wish you to get better soon.

thankfully everything has been rescheduled or covered, but ive still missed out on nearly £*** of work i could have covered over the past 5 days, not even sick pay would even be that much !
I have a regular local audit im planning doing tomorrow but still not booking anything else in, just yet hopefully be on the mend soon though
