Just applied for GAP and was told that my details don't match their current selection criteria. I wonder what put them off?!

Hello Johnny G, how do you make a significant amount from GAP as their main client has a 6 visit a month limit......or am I missing a trick:)

I may have to start the early morning visits which I think allow another 6.

    Thanks, Jon.

Becoming a bit of a regular with them and saving them come month end. It depends where you are and how far your willing to travel for jobs they are desperate to complete. I would like to think of myself as a bit of a 'go-to-guy' with them. Alot of regulars on here are like that with a variety of different MS companies. It can be lucrative if you are willing to be a hero!

I have been told contradicting info regarding their late night and daytime visits in regards to how many you can take in a month.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk
  • On the site, it says that the limit is ten per month now, not six. You can do two sites in a day (but not in same time slot, unless GAP specifically contact you and ask you to do so). They tend to ring with jobs at the end of the month, so it's a case of help them out, and they keep on ringing.

    Hi all
I've had an email saying RA are looking for Auditors in my area. Has anyone any experience of auditing with them? I know we can't talk clients or fees on here but can you either PM me or simply let me know if it tends to be worthwhile.
The want a CV, photo & paragraph about why they should consider you and before I go to all that trouble I would like to know if it is worth it! I rarely do any MSing for them as the fees are so low.
    Cheers!
  • Thanks for that skintsocks. I got a reply only yesterday from them to confirm that 6 was indeed the limit per calendar month with a further 6 between midnight and 4 although I can see that they would relax this when making end of month appeals to individuals.

The more I do then the more chance I have of getting the extra ones I suppose as I am in a variety of towns and cities and could do way more than this limit. I do not know what the limit is for their other big client but there seems to be far less opportunities to do these anyway.

As for travelling superliss they would have to pay me extra to cover that as I can do them to keep the whole fee as I am in that place at that time anyway. Other than the receipt request which I am now getting used to I enjoy doing them to be honest. In fact I did one this past weekend and was asked if I wanted a receipt at the same time as they told me the cost which was a lovely surprise.

Thanks again for your responses, its always good to learn from others.

I think I could have taken myself on a cheap holiday due to them in december. Raise a glass.. (until I get the 'dear john' email)

Have to be honest, I know GAP aren't everyone's favourite, but I'll be a bit lost with MSing when I finally get their Dear JohnnyG email :(

Hi sukitnsee, as what everyone else has said. Also, when they call, I very rarely let them down, so I'm extremely reliable. I usually do all their late night visits around here, which don't count towards your 6 quota.

As an example, there's a town about 25 miles from where I live that, for some reason, they can never fill. Last 3 visits I've done a burger and a chicken shop and they've now started throwing in a petrol visit too. I've not done it this month as I've clearly done them all too often but, when I go, I get really great premiums.

Missed two calls from them lately, which has clearly cost me work, grrrrr. Will be gutted when they finally sack me :(.

Does anyone have any jobs at the moment with ESA? It has been dying very slowly for me in the past 2 weeks and now there is none in my area (up to 50 miles).

Did 2 frozen food jobs last weekend but that's been it. There's nothing showing whatsoever on their board at the moment for me.
  • I do weekly audits for them at a few local supermarkets and have just done some frozen food visits which were nice and straightforward.

So for those of us who are just mere mortals nothing? I don't even check anymore... I don't even see the stamp shops round my way.

More if you don't do a car shop they stop sending you the invites and if you don't fit the profile for the financial jobs you won't see them.
