The GFK staff eat in jobs are like the star trek tribbles, I keep removing them and more appear!0

There are two briefs I have seen so far. One says you have to buy one hot drink + food item from cafe (bakery or hot food item) + item from store. The other brief asks for two items either a cafe product + item (if it sells hot food) or if not a bulky item + another.
The one I went to yesterday the hot drink was normal high exorbitant cost you get at services and pasties/sausage rolls - there were no bakery products. Seems you are better off if you get the second brief but you don't know until you apply what the brief is.
There are three variants of the brief, none state you must buy a hot snack, you must buy a bakery product or branded cafe food item IF there is a bakery in store, no bakery no snack purchase (means no need to buy one of those manky hotdogs if that is all they have) The bakery item can be anything, I have posted above a doughnut or such will cover the brief.whitelabel wrote: »Ims are wanting a lot of work for the money on those drink store support jobs they have just put up. I am finding that is my response to most IMS jobs these days.0 -

No mention of a drink in mine! As Graham says, just a bakery item. I have found that crumpets are on offer for 50p for a 4 pack in the stores I've visited. Or you can get 5 doughnuts for £1. I bought a magazine I would've bought myself anyway on another. Or a 6pk of Walkers crisps for £1, again something I would've bought anyway, so I don't mind if it comes out of my reimbursement.Minimalist

Yup there are several variations of the brief but that said there always have been, you just have to think laterally what you can buy, newspapers or a small choccy bar are cheap, there are always some cheap bakery items, a pack of chewing gum, or do what I did with mine of Friday, use it for a meal that you would have bought anyway.
Also in those branded cafes look out for the large hot drink and snack combo offers, satisfies the brief, acts as an upsell and saves money, winner winner chicken dinner :-)0 -

This a bit sneaky but if you go later in the day say 7pm-ish they never have any food left in the bakery so you can buy what you want then, as long as it is bulky (loaf of bread, 2 litres of milk, big bottle of water) and something else. My better half and I have done 6 of these and bought one bakery item.0 -

Watch the times on the brief though, some are all day some morning and some afternoon times. Good idea mind.
I go for the glass bottle of Iru Bru, costs a quid with 30p refund on the bottle :-)0 -

The job says 60mins , the summary says 90 but most Ims jobs take longer unless you know the store and staff. yes parking is limited 2-3 hours but usually they have a machine in store to register your reg details with the parking company to be exempt for the day.
I can see them taking no more than an hour based on previous visits to the stores for other companies but annoyed at the pay0 -
