Applied for a Bare job three weeks ago - a whole week in advance of my visit to the town in question. The day came and went - not selected for the job, which didn't shift. A fortnight later, the job is still there.
I had thought this sort of thing was because they didn't fancy me for the job. But the last two occasions I completed an identical visit in other towns, they rated me 10 out of 10.
Similar experience several times here. Both annoying and a mystery isn't it?
But I have never yet quite managed 10/10 for them. I think they are one of those firms that know how to accentuate the negative and get your back up. They penalised me a point for using a full stop rather than a colon when entering a figure, (only one out of about 8 - argh!!!) and I really hate their rather patronising comments on reports.
.....then they send you personal emails, with their good wishes, practically begging you to do similar jobs.arghhh!!!0 -

I don't think their proof readers have English as their first lanuage and this causes issues. For example, I had a report returned to me because they wanted me to add an extra figure in (it was a car pricing job and the had added an extra bit). I noticed that all my comments had been changed and instead of reading the way you would in English, it read as though it had been translated from another lanuage. And I got an 8, presumably because they had had to change my comments.0 -

Yes it's a secret club - tee hee!
No, I use both. I entered a job on Maxim this afternoon and searched for jobs on Hawk. I can't remember now how I got a password for Hawk so maybe contact them to ask for one.0 -
RM is working fine for me in Firefox.
Which is good, as I made a convincing poorly person this morning for reasons of poorliness.0
