I had a similar 'disaster' today - was supposed to set up a display and restock from the warehouse. Sounded simple on paper apart from fact that the warehouse was 'stuffed' with Xmas stuff and could not find the products to display. The shop staff were good in trying to assist. A good hour faffing around but failed the brief. Spoke to the agency and others have had similar problems. First time I have done one of these jobs so jury is out as fee needs to be another 40% IMHO.
I did a couple of these types of jobs and I found them to be a complete waste of my time and haven't done them again since. They just aren't worth the hassle for the paltry fee IMHO:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0 -

Thanks - I don't think I will be bothering before Xmas again. I'd rather sit in a bike shop car park for two minutes getting a part fitted for a nice premium!0 -
I did a few of these, waste of time. I wasn't bothered though, it adhered to my company motto:
"You can waste as much money as you want on hare-brained ideas. So long as you waste it with me."
A bit of cage-walking* did find the stuff in one place, no joy anywhere else unless it was already out.
*old warehouseman's trick - NOT recommended if you don't know what you're doing and aren't a bit nuts.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
And i'm finished until Sunday, phew! I'm not used to working this much, it's great though, much rather be busy than sat around bored
I've done 13 jobs Mon - Fri this week, last week I did three! :rotfl: And on Monday i'm doing 12 in one day :rotfl:
I'm not sure what I think about those merchandising jobs, I did two and one was a nightmare and one really easy and the paperwork afterwards is straight forward. I did two audits this week and they were the same, one nightmare and one easy one. The main difference has been how helpful the staff were! It's just a shame the pay isn't a bit better. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

Glad to see you're getting busy. I did a couple of merchandising jobs a while ago and really didn't think much of them, haven't done any more.
I was in for a quiet week next week but have just had my monthly call from GAP; got a number of jobs, all with good premiums, so now it's red wine time0 -
What's the most number of phone jobs people have done in one day?
With or without having to book a medicinal beer job for that evening0 -
