I have a question or two about Albatross. Recently signed up for them, and I notice you can't preview the brief before you apply (always annoying). Or am I being thick? Anyhoo, my questions are: Is there a way of knowing if there is a purchase requirement (even if purchase and return) before accepting the job? and what are the reports like (ie, wordy, repetitive, time consuming).
You apply for a job. If it shows a fee, then it is a fee visit. If it does not show a fee, i.e. 0.00, it has a purchase and you keep it. They allocate. Send you the brief. You then do a test and if you pass, you can complete the visit.
Reports are king sized, think just a bit longer than React, but the pay is generous in comparison.
Just be warned, it takes forever for the report to be checked and it takes about 2 months to be paid, so not a good one if you need the money in a rush.

That's a massive help - thanks. The visit I was looking at used to be with another company where you had to buy a supermegapricey item (£400 odd quid) and return later the same day. Since I cut up my credit card, those visits aren't an option any more.0 -
If GAP payday is 26th does it take a few days to clear or should I have it by now?Internet earnings:
Swagbucks - £748
InstaGC -£73
Nielsen Mobile - £70
Mobile Trends - £19.50
iPoll - £150 -
You are welcome.
Out of interest, has anyone done one of the React application shops yet or are they still on hold? Thought I would ask on here first before I harrass Uncle Ted.
Not sure, I am waiting as well to hear. Apparently, there was a problem with the app, so not sure where they are with getting that fixed.0 -

Thanks for letting me know.
I am tempted to email him and cancel it.
The ones that UKIMS did were much better. In batches of 3 to 5, and the fee/reimbursement was at least double.0 -
just checked and TNS money in the bank
but im nearly £150 short as despite promises they havent corrected the underpayment issue where it shows on job screen at one rate, then goes through to the payscreen at a lower AND agreed mileage hasnt been added on for all visits either .... phone call tomorrow to them then (after ive finished/ recovered from todays 8 phone visits/reports)0 -
If anyone hasn't had the email, the app visits for React are now live..
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work0 -

Very good company to work for, reports are tick box with verbatem when required to justify an answer. Payment for me has always been on the first of the month following a visit.0
