Tip number two of the day...
When called up to do an emergency burger - i.e HAS to be done that evening (as it appears the person who did the last one had it rejected because they asked for no ice ).. ask for a silly amount of money to do it. And they will accept.hahahahaha

Had an inbox full of emails from GAP this morning, asking me to send new scanned images of the receipt for every job which I've done in the last three or so months. Camera photos have been fine for years, but not now, apparently.

Looks like you will need to buy a scanner. Can claim it back from the taxman.0 -

Luckily I already have one at home and one in the office. I just find it odd that they've suddenly changed their mind about what is clear to read and what isn't. Tbh, the phone pictures look almost exactly the same as the scanned images. Perhaps they've been Audited.

When purchasing a burger... don't ask for 'no ice' in your soft drink (I had a tooth ache). As they won't pay you if you do!!
Did something similar on coffee shop - brought the wrong type of cake and did not get paid......
First choice was not available so thought I had selected second choice. Made me read briefs more closely...0 -
I bought a scanner at the weekend £49.99 for a Canon in PC World. Needed it to upload quotes for car visits.
It works of the USB no need to plug into mains. Plus you can stick all the receipts you can fit on the scanner and it automatically crops and saves in individual files. Saves time taking pics of each individual reciept uploading to dropbox and then cropping.0 -

Hmmmm maybe this is the reason why they still haven't paid their shoppers around the Globe..... To busy looking through your shopper record to ask for all the receipts!! They'd have a job asking for mine as I completed almost 300 assignments for them in August and September alone!:rotfl:0 -
Most of the work I get from them is over the telephone which is mainly higher end visits. They text me first. The normal cheapo ones will go on the board soon for next month but they do get swiped really fast save the awful floor ones which stay on for ages.
I still get the email requests for the high end jobs and last minutes, I guess they just haven't had much on their board. It's a shame, I did like the quickie convenience store visits.0 -
Hi folks - picking up the odd assignment now. Not a lot of cash, but a bit of free food. Anyway I was booked to do breakfast today 7am - 10.30am. I got there at 8.30 am and the place was closed. I took a couple of photos of the shutters and made contact through the webform to say I hadn't managed to complete because it was closed. I suppose it is now just wait and see, or should I be doing anything else?0

Sounds like you've done as much as can be expected. I would expect you to be paid in some capacity for a failed visit.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
