If we are talking about the yellow supermarket with Gyp doesn't it say you can fold the receipt in the middle, to shorten it as long as the 'designated' purchases can be seen at the top & the total at the bottom? That's what I've done with no repercussions.

If you're talking about somewhere else - sorry!

Also, thanks all for the sensible advice earlier this week re cinema audits. Being my first 'audit' - I've only done MSing so far- I hadn't considered some of the potential problems.

Must say as a fairly new MSer I find this forum so useful.

I have been folding the receipts for a while now but they moaned las time so I just got the scissors out! BG's suggestion of scanning makes sense, as any decent scanner/printer that works over wifi should just save straight to your designated folder.

Enjoy your audits this weekend. If done accurately and promptly you will probably find it becomes a monthly job.

I'm losing the will to live! In the middle of a React report which just seems to go on and on and on.

Every single question seems to need a comment - sometimes all I can do is repeat the question with a yes or no!

    AAAAaaaaagh!

Still it is a good fee :jso I should stop complaining and get on with it...........:rotfl:

Same here - did a React report yesterday and it took a long time because of those comments. For example, a question: 'Did the assistant wear a name badge?' and my answer is 'No', it still requires a comment, so I just had to put a full answer in my comment 'The assistant did not wear a name badge'. :wall:
  • I always fold the supermarket receipt so that my payment details aren't shown - it makes it quite a bit shorter. They haven't complained (yet).

Does anyone know if we are good to go with the react app jobs yet? I haven't seen a message about it, but of course, the automatic reminders are now coming thick and fast and I can't amend the dates if I don't know when we can do them.

I completed my report, as I did the job in the morning. It's been Incompleted from Complete and a message added saying they will let me know when to complete it.

You can get a decent scanner/printer cheap, would solve that problem.

Must admit, I have a HP 3 in 1 scanner/printer/photocopier, that I had before I started this MS lark, and it's spot on.

Not seen any further e-mail from REACT since the one telling us to hold fire on the visits.

The annoying thing is- I have a scanner! But I recently had to re-install my OS and now it won't install. They want to charge me £11 for a new disc and likelihood is, it will just be the same as the disc I've got. So I'm not prepared to pay. If I can sell that scanner I might have the cash to buy another, that's compatible with my OS. Though why the other one once worked on this OS and now won't, I don't know. Technically, it's an older scanner and shouldn't work on Windows 7, only XP.

Anyone undertaking Gap jobs for those seaside-themed petrol stations should look carefully at their job history going back the last quarter. A couple of mine magically morphed from 'Completed' to 'Rejected/Cancelled'. And as a result the payment disappeared. There had been no query or comment from them at any stage so clearly it is an error, but one if you do not check, may slip past and go unnoticed.

A clue to mine is that they are sequentially numbered, so it could well be a glitch to a particular job range, but you may wish to check and query if this has similarly happened to you.

Wizzbang - scanner drivers are often available online from the manufacturers website, even old ones. Do a search!
