Is it worth pointing out to Gap that the chicken timings they ask for on the brief do not match the timings they ask for on the questionnaire.. which do not match the timings on the orientation? Or would I just p**s em off enough to sack me...?

Anyone else see the irony in asking GAP to confirm their timings? :rotfl:
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Well after a hectic day yesterday, where I made my weekly target in one day, but was completing reports until well past 11pm, I've now got a quiet day at home completing a round of phone call jobs.

Sometimes, I actually enjoy doing this job :)

Have GR lost a client to DS?

Not surprised, a lot of work for quite a measly fee, which appears to be even lower.

I did one of these visits for GR last week. Easy report, dull as dishwater visit though!

I've mystery shopped on and off for years, but this is the first time i've ever really had a problem.

The assignment said "Betting shop name - X Road, North End" - so off I went to do the shop, filled the report and got a query back saying i'd visited the wrong branch.
After some messages going back and forth, it turns out they wanted me to go to a different branch on the same road, but in a completely different locale at the other end of the road.

As this was down a mistake on their listing should I ask for payment?

    Absolutely.

You did the job that they asked you to. As far as you are concerned, you went to the correct address, and carried out the assignment according to their instructions. The listing error is not your concern.

There's no question you need to be paid for the job that you did.

And if they would like you to do the correct job, you need to be paid for that too.

Be polite but firm, especially if you plan on working for them again.

If it was their mistake then I'd most definitely push for payment.

Thanks, to be honest am thinking of stopping working for MF - every report I've sent back recently they've had proof reading queries on, even though the info they've queried is in the report.
