Reported my car as stolen.
Then remembered that I'd driven it into town the previous day, forgotten and walked home. Cost me a parking ticket as well.
There is a particular car park in a particular town in the south of England I could never make head nor tail of. When ever I parked there I lost my car and had to get security to find it for me. In the end they knew me by my first name and came and found me when they saw me re entering the carpark on foot on the CCTV.

I walked into the bathroom about a month ago. I ran myself a nice hot bubblebath, made a cup of tea while it was drawing, lit candles, got a book, turned on the radio, everything.
I'd been in there about two minutes when I remembered I'd only gone in the room for a pee.
I've also sent texts to the wrong person. My mechanic had the same first name as my ex, so the request for a full service might have been bad wording. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I ordered a few clothes online a while ago, and had them delivered to store. I went in there on the day, and they didn't have the parcel. I had received the delivery email, so I was adamant it should be there. I even called customer services while in the shop, the manager came to speak to me, very apologetic. After 15 minutes, they said they were sorry, but I would have to order again as it was obviously lost. I was rather annoyed, to put it mildly, as the store is half-an-hour away from my house. I left and went back home.
I checked my email again. Lo and behold...I'd had it delivered to a different store....:o
I did phone the store and apologised profusely. I have rarely felt like such a numpty.0 -
Had a very stressful morning, racing around like an idiot trying to get to the hospital for my sons 9.15am appointment - put my daughter out to school (in the rain) a little early, took all the back roads to the hospital so I didn't get caught in traffic, found parking, and dragged my son through the car park to make it on time.
It's a shame the appointment wasn't until 10.15.
At least it was only an hour, I turned up a whole week early for an appointment with 2 of my kids. I realised as we walked up to the building so we went to Mcdonalds before I took them back to school where I told their teachers they had another apponitment same time next week

I parked up at Harrogate for a meeting in York, and to make matters worse a few weeks later I did it again but the other way round..................

I got married.........
Thats two of us then.
After a boozy week in Poland my mates drove me to the airport, as I walked in I though "great no queues" went to check in and the woman looked at me all odd and told me the flight was just taking off.
I'd only drilled it in to my head that the landing time at Luton was the take off time in Poland.
Went out to the car park to see my friends still there, they thought I was winding them up until I turned around to see the Wizz Air flight taking off.
Went home booked another flight for the next day, we stayed at home and ate pizza as I was too embarrassed to go out and see all my other mates as I was mean to be back in London.0 -
last week on the day it was scorching hot , i thought i would go out in the garden and chill out , this was about 11-00 pm , i stepped out of our living room patio door and trod barefooted on a hedgehog ,which had decided to go to sleep right in front of the door , although i stepped quite hard on it i managed to not quite put my full weight on it, as i hopped forward in agony my leg siezed up with cramp, so i was trying to stretch the cramp out and not put my foot down , all this time mrs j was wetting herself with laugher.
after about 1/2 hr the hedgy got up and wondered off , i've seen him most nights runing around so i guess he's ok0 -
Not me, but myself and BF had put mouse traps all around our kitchen to sort out a little infestation in a new flat we were living in. You're supposed to put them close to the edges of the room as they like to run alongside the walls.
BF is making some toast, bread in the toaster, moves his foot forwards, the trap we put by the kitchen counters slams down on his foot, in pain and surprise he tries to steady himself by bringing his hand down... on the burning hot toaster! Needless to say I could not stop laughing, poor thing. It was like watching a cartoon.0 -
I had a meeting with my old employer and took along my eldest, just a few months after he was born. Left him with a friend in the office because everyone wanted to see him while I went into see the director. Finished the meeting and I left. Alone.0

Me and a colleague were asked to found out some information by a senior manager. After getting the answers we needed my work-mate emailed our boss, he meant to say "we've been doing a bit of digging" however "i" and "o" are next to each other on the keyboard.....
