Doesn't fair much worse than many other cars but 37 is a lot less than 51mpg so don't get it purely on an economy driveMortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -

I just hope the turbo in my car doesn't fail after being a little rude about yours!
We'll have a little competition to see whose turbo lasts longest
Comeon Focus! Everybody loves an underdog :T

Essex22011 - sorry if some of my posts have distracted slightly from your quest. I'm still a little hazy on quite what you're looking for? Are you decided on petrol or diesel yet for instance? What sort of annual mileage do you do?
What appeals about that Astra? (Not saying it shouldn't, just trying to get an idea what you're after.)0 -

I hope both our cars have many fault free miles left in them yet though.

It wont be that one, the manufacture date is wrong.
Do you have a link to the actual car for sale?0 -

I am looking for an ibiza ecomotive, vauxhall Astra/corsa, ford focus or Volkswagen golf!
I just wanted some other people's experience about deals they've had on the above.
I've spoken to vauxhall and this is the 'best' they can do on 0% finance:
Corsa £1000 deposit £179 a month for 60 months
Astra £1000 deposit £202 a month for 60 months
If anyone's had a deal please let me know!!
Fast forward to 4+ years time - the thought of paying over 200 per month for a 4+ year old Astra that will have depreciated down to about 2p would send me running a mile.0 -

No worries! I'm after a 5 door small/medium hatchback which won't cost the earth to fix if it goes wrong.!
I am starting a new job which is a 40 mile journey daily so I think my mileage will be over the 10k mark a year.
This is the car hopefully the link works:

It's a shame Bodger is exaggerating, wouldn't mind a few 2p Astras.0 -
Just wanted to bump this up a bit to see if anyone had any comments on cars x0
