Help? Prize not being honoured.

She has basically admitted it was her error so should have provided you with the prize.

Am I the only one wondering if there really was another winner, or if she kept the prize for herself or a friend?

Hope this gets sorted for OP, I will say I have noticed a very very small minority of bloggers ostracising compers, had a debate with one yesterday who had tweeted to ask why professional competition enterers were entering her competition! (I hadn't entered but am very glad to know I now have another profession ).
On the whole I think majority of bloggers think us compers are ok xx

These statements make me want to rename such folk as "part time marketing interns"

Publicity is publicity, eyeballs are eyeballs, numbers on google analytics are numbers on google analytics, yadda yadda yadda


(I'll add I worked in services marketing for 8 years, as a techie. The marketing world in not an easy job, nor one for the thin skinned)

No I was wondering exactly the same thing. Has she mentioned the winner at all, who she's actually "given the prize" to??

I did post a comment on her page too saying i thought her attidude was awful etc and was keeping an eye on it for if she replied, but the whole page seems to have gone, is it just me and my pc playing up? or has she actually deleted the whole thing?

It seems like she has deleted that blog post and also disabled FB wall comments (but you can still comment on her posts just not write to her) and set her Twitter to private!

I left a comment on one of her FB posts and tagged in two companies she was mentioning that day. (evil cackle)

I too don't believe there was a 'winner'. (but then again I don't believe the Joe Delucci's ice cream scooter had a real winner either)

Hi All. I had an email last night from her to "clear this up" I sent a less than charming email back to clear up exactly what I thought.

Today I got a reply basically saying that the prize is gone, nothing she can do,so if some one contacts her in regards to me reporting her then she will deal with it.

I sent her an email back saying I hope her blog gets the reputation it deserves (which is not a good one) !

Will tweet and tag. If she ****ed up the T&Cs, she should provide the prize. Hope her future comps states 'for active bloggers only'.

If she messed up, she should be providing a prize of equal value imo.

It's her attitude that's terrible - ironic as she wants to work in PR.
