Help? Prize not being honoured.

No, but it states you have to follow on Bloglovin... I don't have/do Bloglovin... so the question is - to follow on Bloglovin - do you need to have a blog? It was stated that the winner had to follow on Bloglovin... so can you do that without having a blog? If yes, and OP followed on Bloglovin, then the prize should have been theirs. If no, then it was stated in the rules, and the entry would not be valid.
yes i know that but in the OP the reason stated for not being able to have the prize was that she didnt have a Blog person i was just checking t and c for if that was mentioned anywhere which it wasntmy name is Kit and im addicted to competitions , the what if is my driving force!!

Hi Everyone, thanks for the advice. I have sent a message to the email address above so hopefully I will get a reply. I am not sure what will be done though as she has already given the prizes to some one else.
This is the email I got back.
"I don't see why you are still trying to argue it out when it was so long ago? I've told you that the prize was sent to someone else so there is nothing else I can do as I don't have the prizes anymore? You can report me that's fine, ill just explain that it was a misunderstanding on my behalf."0 -

jeesus - she has a brass neck does she not
you make sure you report her to IPM
also - see what company she regularly blogs for and report her to them - she wont like her freebies stopping
I wouldnt accept anyone 'talking' to me like that - nasty piece0 -
I know that some bloggers are getting strict with who enter their giveaways as they only want other bloggers to enter not people who have accounts just for comping.
x
Curious why they want that, given that it's PR companies supplying the prizes and bloggers are not much different to compers in getting freebies?! or is it that the bloggers are all 'in it together' and promote each other to get more publicity?
To the OP, hope it gets sorted, another blog to avoid..
bit unfair if it wasn't in T&C.0 -

Yep, thats also how they try to get round the self promo rules on MSE, groups of them cross-promote, more visits to a blog = increased revenue and better freebies for them.
There are some ok blogs out there but many are worth avoiding with prizes not issued or going to other bloggers (like some of the smaller FB and TW comps).0 -
At least I know to avoid that blog now.
Good luck on getting this sorted out and I hope it doesn't put you off of comping. xx0 -
Did she defo want details of your blog, or want your bloglovin login?0

Interesting...
I've added this one to my ever growing list of blogs to avoid, along with the odd blogger who has come on here with an attitude etc, though most of the time I don't have much time for blog comps anyway but if they do this, then even more so. I follow a handful of blogs that are interesting but it's in the minority.
Also I find companies who promote posts from bloggers saying look how great our products are, such and such blog have done this great review, just put me off anyway, as it's all so false.0 -

Wow she sounds delightful, not!!!! How rude, misunderstanding or not she should still honour the prize. I hope you get some help from the complaint email to the IPM0 -
I'm on your side. It sounds like you fulfilled the necessary requirements and therefore you should get the prize. Her error is her fault not yours and she should have accepted that this time around and made it more clear in her future competitions.
Did you make it clear that you followed her on bloglovin even though you don't keep a blog yourself?Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0
