This worked quite well for me last week when I had a freezer full of meat needing used, though I did change a few things round a bit, not been shopping yet this weekend so no ideas yet!

Buffy - just wanted to say your meals sound particularly lovely to me! Swordfish... yum :)

  • Awww thanks redsquirrel80 :) I have to confess that I've never cooked swordfish before (have eaten it though) Think I'm going to treat it like I do fresh tuna steaks - pan fried for 2 mins on each side and then plonk on the plate with some lime wedges to squeeze over.

I've been meal planning since last year thanks to OS, but finding myself in a pickle. I joined Slimming World and lots of meals I used to make I can't do now. Anything with butter, oil pastry, cream is out and need to go easy on potato.
We both love chicken but struggling with recipes for chicken thighs, any ideas? I'm already a big fan of Chinese Chicken (wine, soy, water, sugar and mustard).
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!

Thanks PenPin, I can't believe another week has gone already.

    Saturday: takeaway chinese
Sunday: Shepherds Pie with hm Rosti instead of mashed potatoes.
    Monday: Twice baked roquefort souffles
Tue/Wed: we're away so will be eating out
    Thursday: tbd
Friday: Fish, probably halibut this week.

I'm starting to run out of our favourite things in the freezer and am sooooo tempted to place another meat order. However, the freezer still has lots in, so I'm going to try and use them up for a while.
