is the hp printer more for digy photos etc................
can it be used as a normal printer connected to your pc??? or will it be expensive on cartridges to run this way

It does both - same print technology as my older 7150 - absolutely superb pictures. For normal use it is worth getting the extra black print cartridge to swap with the photo cartridge. A slight hassle, but you'll be changing from normal to photo paper at the same time.

For borderless 6x4 photos the recommended HP paper is 6x4 with the tear off tab, (the printer design is such that it can't print onto the last bit of paper that the rollers are gripping). I've also used Kodak 6x4 and just trimmed the white band off. Final comment - mine doesn't do borderless A4, not sure if that is still the case with this one, worth checking if that is important.

    I've been Money Tipped!
ALL 3 items I reserved yesterday are back up to normal price today.

Does this mean when I go to collect them they will be at the higher original price again?

Have tried to ring customer services but there is no reply.

Went in this morning to collect a sandwich toaster and Halo 2 to be told they were yesterday's prices. After some discussion about how I was supposed to have until Friday the manager let me have them at the price I reserved. Meanwhile staff were tearing sale stickers off items. Strange one this....

Went in today to get a bike for my son. The price was reduced online to 39.99 but was reduced again to 25! Great, but, I overheard the staff saying that there were bargains "hanging from the ceiling" yesterday and today there's hardly any bargains there. Me being cheeky I asked why. She said that apparently somebody had tried to buy all the stock off them at the sale prices, that would obviously mean that they would have to close straight away and at the moment they haven't received their 90 days notice. She said the date they were given when they would be shutting down was July. Think that explains the lack of sale, pity, I went in there today looking for some bargains and there was hardly anything worth getting.

Went to collect my items that I had reserved yesterday.

Initially was told that all prices had gone back up but girl double checked with another member of staff, told I could have them at the reserved price because I had ordered before the prices went back up last night.
