Richard, in the logic of our household, has always been called Joshua. Josh, sometimes.

Richard is a fantastic name, wonderful. Almost as good as Generali.

But what a fantastic location that must have been, backing right onto the beach! What a shame that it's gone.
All the coast along East Anglia's got random pockets of cliffside homes and huts - all of which have been on borrowed time for the last 60+ years. I remember as a small child seeing houses (actual houses) perched on the edge, some half missing.

It goes with the territory... anybody who buys, knows they take their chances.... the alternative is to buy a chalet on the park behind at £15-25k, giving you a bit more security it'll last each night ... for the next few years.

Ah, she's got a brood .... ending in 29 grandchildren..... at least one of whom lives with her due to family dysfunctionality.... so probably got many kids there a lot of the time ....

I thought she sat on her 4rse all day playing online bingo :) She's always linking it to me and offering me bingo games..... *annoying*

In her defence, a lot of these games send out invites without the user being aware.

I get inundated with LinkedIn invites, that everyone denies sending.

    That's handy to know....
I've been inundated with invites ... re bingo .... and it's stopped me bothering to speak with her again as I've nothing to say to Bingo Playing Women. Everybody loves the occasional game, under the right circumstances, but she is presenting as an online bingo addict.

You just have to laugh as the alternative is crying.

I bet being a Pom in Aus right now is uncomfortable, having been the favourites going in just makes it worse :(
    I think....

It reminds me of my youth!

Let's face it, England winning at cricket is just not cricket.

Hi tomterm, long time no see. :kisses3:

I just never got into cricket. I tried, watched, learned the rules, watched more, but just never got excited about it...

Watching cricket is deadly boring if done sober, but it is actually quite fun to play. Something that came as a surprise to me when I did it.

Basically, the aim of watching cricket is to get as drunk as possible over the course of a hot summer day while singing rude songs at the Australians.
