Oh no, please don't - will need to refer back when I get round to doing this myself
What I did:
- bought a phone from Tesco
- went in and collected it, went to the Phone shop bit in Tesco. SIM was already in the phone, they pointed at the phone number on the box. Bought a data bundle (1GB, £10/month, no contract).
Now, once I get the PAC number from my existing people, I will return to Tesco with that and they'll "do the business" ... and the number currently on my new phone will disappear by magic and my new phone will have my historical number.

Not the worst place to be.......:D0 -

I've no idea which ear I use the phone with - depends where I am, what I'm doing I guess..... I probably change it about too....0

You can get alerted when you get close to your data limit if you wish...
Settings (touch to the left hand of the button at the bottom or go apps/ settings)
Data usage is near the top. From there you can set your limit warning.0 -

Tried to follow your destructions ..... can't follow/comprehend any of what you said .... so I am randomly poking about until I find settings again, I know it's in there somewhere.
"touch to the left hand of the button at the bottom" - doesn't exist
"go apps/ settings" - I might be able to understand that
Edit: Got as far as finding settings and data usage..... couldn't find anything meaningful in there
Edit 2: Found it, it seems to be set at 2GB, which is mad as I'm on a 1GB plan ... but I can't see to change it as I still can't get that front panel sticker off ... so it still says MOTOROLA in the middle of the screen. Darned nuisance..... daft place to put a big name.
Edit 3: Worked it out ... have to touch the bar and drag it downwards.....0 -
I would still think about unlocking and changing if you don't have a reliable signal where you are living, it can be extremely annoying if people are trying to reach you or you just want to make a call - as I said you should be able to use the phone as a 'signal detector'.
If you are very polite to Tesco mobile customer service they will unlock your phone for free after 3 months. Just tell them you love tesco mobile but are going abroad and want to put an overseas SIM in it for a week and can they unlock for you.Did we do NP handedness - I am very right handed but also use the phone to the right ear - not sure if I hear quite as well in my left ear.
But I kick a ball with my left foot and yet I snowboard regular not goofy - makes no sense.
I would hazard a guess that we have more NP lefties than in the general population?
I am totally right handed, as is OH except for holding his knife and fork. DS1 is profoundly left handed.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm recommending Watsapp Messenger originally rcommended to me by Chewie. Lets you send images and media free when you're in a wifi area. Costs a £1 per years after the first year free. A few media messages in and you're in profit. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

Dh's work secret Santa was last night. DH has almost always drawn women, and so I tend to procure a candle from a space nk sale in preparation for this, or if I haven't thought a head well enough, he goes to tk max for the same That way they get a decent gift for the budget.
His gifts have been joke gifts always but last night he got something really nice a a note from a woman who has been there a bit longer than him and drew as his secret Santa and said she remembers he always gets plastic tat and that she knows he's not that sort of person, but that she has noticed he loves teas, so she bought him a beautiful selection of teas. Its a really thoughtful gift.
