    I've been Money Tipped!
Bought two more books tonight. :). Should spend some time working out how to delete some from my cloud, but I haven't mastered that at all.

PN, having suggested a network and tariff I feel I'm taking you to the door and leaving you find your own way in. I have never had an android phone, so can't offer any advice on how to use it.
I was uber grateful you told me which tariff :)

I went for the £10/month, 1GB data one in the end.

I'll figure stuff out .... just won't take any photos of my thong in case I accidentally end up emailing them to estate agents who I am contacting :)

That reminds me of a funny story.

A friend was sent a really funny but very rude picture, she sent it to a (whatsApp) group of friends. I did warn her that any picture sent to whatsapp also gets copied to her photostream. So she deleted the picture from the photostream also. The next day she went into the apple shop for a lesson. Unbeknown to her and me (I don't own a mac) the photostream also copies to your mac. Lesson was about storing pictures. Up pops the very dodgy picture, she froze and didn't have a clue how to delete it!

Glad I helped, once you get to know how much data you are using you can change to a lower tariff. Somewhere on your phone there will be a running total of the amount of data you are using and you can reset the counter every new billing period.

    Iz u calin mi fick?

I keep staring at it now I've got it .... not sure what to do with it.... what joys to discover next.

I've looked at the RM app and Zoopla app ..... then kind of run out of things to do :)

Can't take more photos as there's nothing to photograph ...... still need to sort out getting images online/available for sharing in a way that I am happy with.

Also installed Google Keep and the flashlight that was recommended... some of the other apps though I've no idea what they're for so didn't install those.

I've installed Evernote - but really need to create a new account, that's just for my phone.

No, definitely not calling u fick! You're more advanced than me on the smart phone journey!!

Interesting... I was taught to hold the phone with my left hand while taking phone messages with my right hand. I can't now use my right ear, even though most of the time there's no writing to do, it feels strange.

    Likewise. :)
I don't start threads, ever. Too much responsibility.

I'll just go and delete a load of that phone tosh from the last 1-2 days.

Oh no, please don't - will need to refer back when I get round to doing this myself

I would still think about unlocking and changing if you don't have a reliable signal where you are living, it can be extremely annoying if people are trying to reach you or you just want to make a call - as I said you should be able to use the phone as a 'signal detector'.

Did we do NP handedness - I am very right handed but also use the phone to the right ear - not sure if I hear quite as well in my left ear.

But I kick a ball with my left foot and yet I snowboard regular not goofy - makes no sense.

I would hazard a guess that we have more NP lefties than in the general population?
    I think....

I'm left handed but also use the phone left eared....I used to just tuck the phone under my ear and write or type when I was working. Now, I put it on speakerphone or tuck it under to type or write.

I also have slight hearing loss in the right ear, so it neither feels right nor can I hear what people are saying very well either!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

If Spirit fancies starting the next thread, then that is fine with me...I am still a little nervous about starting threads on here!

Day 1 with a smartphone (viva style) - you take a lot of close up photos of your left ear while trying to make phone calls.

    Omg.

Whose up for the next one?

Which nice women haven't had a go yet and would like to?

    Or men.

Right handed. Begin with phone in right hand held to right ear but swap it every so often unless the call is very short.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
