I have an unplanned day at home. Mr S was to be home whilst my windscreen was replaced, however he has had to pull out. So I have phoned work/delegated/moved and taken the day off.

Have no car...so what to do?

I might have to resort to a list or I will spend too much time pottering about on here.

    Treat yourself?
Have a lazy day witha good book?
Do "that thing" you've been putting off owing to lack of time?
Prepare yours & Mr Spirits fave meal as a surprise for him?
christmas shopping before the madness starts?

I agree. It is funny how different people can be in RL to on the net.

I guess it is easier to be less shy/more confident under a veil of anonymity.

Agreed. I'd possibly find it quite difficult to chillax to talk to most if I ever made it to a meet up. Not a comment on any NP, more about me. I'm not exactly comfortable in a lot of social situations.
That said, a lot of peeps I work with think I'm exceptionally confident, & are surprised when I explain I'm not. But I think that confidence comes with me carrying out the role I am there to fulfil.

Oh good heavens! You are in for a shock. Slim, er, no.. though I have lost a bit of weight since the last meet up. Chic... you're talking to someone who will frequently wear odd socks under their boots because they've woken up late and can't find a pair. I do tend to smile a lot though.

Hint of Disney... Definitely! Expect me to look like Snow White. Not because of the dark hair, sweet appearance and ability to sing like a bird, rather because I probably haven't blended my blusher correctly and have two blob spots on my cheeks a la Aunt Sally from Worzel Gummage.

    What would you do?

    Pop over to visit you:eek:

It is the unplanned bit...it makes me feel I should do chores or something useful becasue usually if I am off on a school day it is because I am unfit.

IMO, a lot of confident people would say the same.

So make a plan to do stuff at home? Have you got a trouble spot that needs clearing you can tackle (lir shifts uncomfortably thinking of all of hers).

You'd be welcome here. Be warned, my dogs were mellow yesterday it seems because they were sickening for something. I awoke to a sea of diarreoah. I can opt imagine my house will ever smell ok again.

I think I'm only confident in certain scenarios. Behind a keyboard is one of them. Socially, not so.

    I picture viva as a Sabine s c h m i t z style character. Emphasis on the "character"!

    *runs for cover*

edit - how is that name falling foul of the swear filter?
