Can I complain about the hydraulic drill in my 'garden'?

    I think you just did.

I think I planted them a bit too late, but did ok out of them.

Makes me a bit sad thinking about them though, as a dear friend at work discussed with me how chillis were good for a health condition they had. I went home to sort them 4 plants. Whilst in the greenhouse I got called to the phone, to receive a message they'd died suddenly.:(

It's a sad story but at the same time it's good that you were trying to do something to help them at that time.

I have equivocal feelings about memories of death. With the memory of the death come the memories of love and fun and lots of great things about the relationship I had with the dead person. They live on through our memories (bit cheesy that last bit, sorry all).

Grrr...was meant to go out in the morning but there is going to be fog and minus three in the towns (which means about minus four or five here) so I am cancelling.

It's not that cold at all, the sun is out, and there has been not the tiniest waft of mist.

Sheesh. Why did I cancel? :o

Ps Re chillies. The received wisdom over here is that if you want a good chilli plant you treat it mean. Not enough water, very little food.

Yeah my little chilli plant, is that how you like it? You wanna burn my mouth? I'm gonna mess you up real bad. We gonna have some fun, you and me.

    Something like that anyhow.

The hydraulic drill in my 'garden' in conjunction with the pressure in my sinuses (is that the right plural?) is making my face vibrate. Not the nicest experience.

I like it - the neighbours complain about your plans to extend so you start fraking in the back garden instead - genius :)
    I think....

Busy (and stressful) morning here.....had to have another emergency meeting with the school as they messed up big time yesterday afternoon with the end result of a very stressed, angry, depressed and anxious youngest punching the walls on his return home last night and no sleep at all (for me and him!)

My next stop is the LEA, I have had enough. Too many excuses, too many broken promises and too many mess ups.

On a brighter note, I finally picked up my new glasses this morning which means I can read again without getting headaches or feeling sick.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Awww - on the other hand, you can console yourself with the fact you were in the middle of doing a decent thing when you found out.

Because you believed the weather forecast.

Having said that, it might only be that nice where you are - if you'd ventured out you might have found problems round the corner. Weather is often micro-climatic.

Late one SCORCHER of a summer's day, I ventured to the little thatched pub by a beach 6 miles from where I was based. As I came over the last hill, there was a sea fog hanging over the pub/beach. I went into the pub to find all the locals sitting round..... they'd stayed in the pub all day as it'd been so foggy ....
