I actually read that..... I started to learn Russian once ... well, twice, but both classes were closed down due to lack of interest. But I can say the sounds of the letters and some basic words.

I know the first word is pronounced: Dobree.

I don't even know where Kiev is to be honest...
I was going to interrupt for some professional (LiR and Pastures especially) music opinion, but NP chat looks serious.

    I will do it later
    LOL/Pastures' music opinion.

Look ..... if it doesn't look/sound like David Cassidy it's probably rubbish :)

I still say I muddle through being a parent, sometimes I get it wrong, sometimes I get it right and sometimes it is almost but not quite there or I lose my rag/throw my hands up in despair/give up.

Exactly how all parents feel (except the smug), but you manage to do it as a single parent with health issues of your own with children displaying various issues themselves. Which is a damm site harder than it is for a lot of us.

Something that sounds like dobree is part of thank you in Polish. Between the lot of it, maybe we can pick it apart!

Many congrats to your DD, Spirit, and your excellent parenting skills! ;)

Can you have dioralyte, NDG? That would be excellent hydration for the times you can keep it down. I remember giving it to DD when she was very small, perhaps it is okay during pregnancy?

When I cycle in very hot weather over here I find salted crisps or peanuts and flat lemonade or Ribena works well to rehydrate: salt to provoke the thirst with sugar and water to slake it.

If in doubt get the doctors in though.

    Feeling very smug.

I have just eaten porridge with a little fruit compote and I am still in one piece and not barfing or victim to a rugby match in my guts. FRUIT and OATS.

How long does a loaf of bread last you - we keep ours in the fridge and it never goes green even though some times a loaf lasts over a week and it isn't the long life stuff either.
    I think....

DD1 who has packed lunches 3 days a week was complaining it was cold having to eat outside - I was somewhat surprised to learn that at her school juniors with packed lunches are expectesd to eat outside unless it is raining and there isn't an area sheltered from the wind with benches or anything. I am the only one who thinks it is pretty unsuitabel for children this age to be eating outside standing up or sitting on the floor?
