. Grrrrrrrrrrre.
Doggy hair dos today.
you see you get sympathy from me about the doggy hair dos, always a lot of money!
hope you can carry on eating, novelty value alone must be worth it.0 -
There's an interesting article about new house designs on the bbc site here
plus it has links to an article about some interesting houses in Harlow here.
I'd never live in Harlow either. I'm already too close, and my mother worked at PAH before moving up to Addenbrookes, saying it's put her off for life. Try looking on the Uttlesford side, is my advice. Stansted, Newport and Saffron Walden immediately spring to mind.
2 weeks to go until the final, the live room is a mess, and some vehicles still aren't signwritten. I hate Junior Eurovision💙💛 💔0 -

Well...now I'm a bit scared to eat because don't want to put on MORE weight :rotfl:
But yes, its been a good week, I've not eaten much fresh food, and today its cold. DH home nights are always less simple for food because I never know what time he'll be home and no one wants something heavy at half ten, nor to wait half an hour while I knock something together, so it limits choice a little.
If it weren't so cold I think I'd risk oysters.( lean, satisfying and low cal) As it is I'm wondering if a little shell fish or crab pasta or something......i certainly feel as if I could eat so etching 'proper'. Weirdly I'm craving fennel. When I think how hard I trained myself to like fennel.
Re hair dos, just seen a rat, and the kiwi has started ratting, so the major grief is that he'll be filthy within two minutes of getting home because he'll check out his rat place and god knows I'm not wanting to stop him ratting! That's why he is here!!!!!0 -
I came across this. Any thoughts on what the recruitment policy might be for:
1. Senior management
2. Everyone else

No hard workers there then .... just pert bums tottering around the office.

I had boiled egg and soldiers for breakfast. I haven't got an eggcup, so I scrunched up some tin foil into a small plastic pot and made a dent in the centre. Only mistake was only making one egg, should have done two.0

But then perhaps their customers are the same....I think....0 -

I don't think there's much to read into the fact that they're all smiling. Smiling for a portrait photo has been fairly standard every since cameras got fast enough that you don't have to hold the pose for several minutes as the Victorians did.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I had a friend whose work seconded him to a place in Switzerland where he was provided with a furnished flat complete with kitchen equipment. There were no egg cups. He likes boiled eggs. He found that the kitchen was supplied with plenty of sherry glasses that would do just nicely for eating boiled eggs out of.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? I eat the mini cheesecakes.... and save the pots as they come in handy for a lot of things - so I made my eggcup from one of those plastic cheesecake pots.0 -
But, let's face it - if that phone company were hiring ... I'd not stand a chance. Not even to do their photocopying.0
