HELP!
It remains a mystery to me how you remember where you are! Ihave visions of you writing it on the back of your hand so when you wake up, it's easy to remember:p
@gen, that will keep me amused for a while. Prefer the now clock rather than the annual. Plenty of first kisses and beer being drunk on the bright side.0 -

The frustrating thing is that there absolutely should be a place in UK politics for a credible libertarian party to point out the absurdity of the nanny state, PC gone mad, etc.
But it all falls apart for UKIP with their economically illiterate stance on immigration and the EU.
But the problem is that UKIP don't really have policies on anything other than immigration and the EU.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. So I'm the rude one??
I know (from DS2) that it really isn't possible to weigh under 8 stone and be that height.
You weren't rude, I was being thick.CKhalvashi wrote: »

HELP!
I spent 5 days in Kiev once with my best mate, after 5 days in Lvov and before taking the train to Moscow. I thought Kiev was quite the most scary place I've even been to - seriously threatening! That was in 1998; what is it like now?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Re Farage. Not keen on him or his politics. Every time I see him on tv though my main thought is that he wears his suits cut on the large side and with larger than typical stripes. Thus when I see him I think not of politics, but of Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I once heard a fireman say, "At the bottom of every pit of misery and despair sits an unattended tea light".
.
Thanks for this post.
Inspiration struck just now when I couldn't fnd any newspaper, didn't fancy putting boots on to go out and getting feed bags from the barn then my eyes fell on a shell pink teal light.
Woodburner is now alight.0 -
"tea light" is a new phrase since I was a child - then they were always called "night lights"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
